We’ll journey along one of Britain’s most scenic railway lines on the Peak Rail steam train and visit the birthplace of the Bakewell pudding. Renowned for its links to Richard the Lionheart and legendary outlaw Robin Hood, we’re in for a journey through history and folklore on this Christmas break.

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Nottingham. We aim for you to arrive at the hotel between 4pm and 5pm when a glass of sparkling wine will be served, before time to settle into your room. Dinner will be followed by tea, coffee and mince pies, and entertainment.

Christmas Eve - Peak Rail Preserved Railway
We depart for Rowsley South Station in the neighbouring county of Derbyshire. The Midland Railway route once linked Derby and Manchester, via limestone hills and magnificent viaducts and we’ll take a journey on the Peak Rail steam train, described as Britain’s most scenic line. We’ll return to the hotel for the afternoon and then we’ll settle down to a Christmas Eve dinner, with tea, coffee and mince pies to follow. A singer will provide festive entertainment.
Christmas Day - Nottingham
Christmas Day is yours to spend as you wish. A glass of celebratory wine or sparkling wine and a sumptuous Christmas lunch will be served, with tea, coffee and mince pies. In your free time, maybe take a stroll around the local area to explore.
Boxing Day - The Peak District - Bakewell
We’ll embark on a panoramic tour of the Peak District, England’s first national park, with breathtaking views over boundless natural beauty. Then, enjoy free time exploring Bakewell, a charming old market town with the River Wye meandering through the centre. It’s a lovely place to explore and as the birthplace of the Bakewell Pudding, why not try one for yourself in a local café. We return to the hotel for the afternoon.
Day 5 Nottingham
You’ll be collected at 10am by your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
