North Africa Holidays

Journey to North Africa for souks, sands and sacred sites. From the lofty Atlas Mountains to the lush Nile Valley, our North Africa tours reveal the very best of this captivating part of the world.

In Morocco, you can browse treasure-trove markets and cook up a storm in a medina kitchen one day, and experience the silence of the Sahara the next at a traditional Bedouin camp. Egypt, meanwhile, gives you a pass to some of the world’s ancient wonders. A leisurely cruise along the palm-dotted Nile reveals a host of temples and tombs, each decorated with mysterious hieroglyphics and drawings of deities.

Where do I fly from and to for North Africa holidays?

Our North Africa tours all tend to fly from London (ask our travel advisors about the possibility of connecting flights from other UK airports). For Moroccan tours, we fly to Marrakech; for Egypt, we fly to capital city Cairo.

What is the local transportation like?

In Morocco, we usually travel by coach. Outside the cities, the roads can be uneven and twisting (particularly around the Atlas Mountains). For our Egypt holiday, we’ll travel by coach and on a comfortable, air-conditioned ship for the Nile cruise portion of the tour.
