Join us in the ‘Rainbow Nation’ of South Africa, where more than 2,500km of dramatic coastline, captivating cities filled with history and charm and national parks teeming with unique wildlife are waiting to be explored.

You’ll see all these things, and more, on our superb Sensational South Africa tour, and this special five-minute film recorded on one of our September departures gives you a taste of this endlessly fascinating country. Featuring just a few of the holiday highlights, it also includes interviews with genuine Titan travellers, tour managers and local guides.

Beginning in Johannesburg and Pretoria, we head eastward to enjoy a full-day safari drive in world-famous Kruger National Park, seeking out the ‘big five’: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros. Seeing these magnificent animals in their natural habitat ranks as one of the most magical experiences of world travel.

From here, we fly down to Port Elizabeth, and more wildlife spotting is on the itinerary at the Garden Route National Park, Knyasna Lagoon and Featherbed Nature Reserve, before our South African adventure concludes in its most appealing city, Cape Town. Here, we take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain and later head out to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach, home to a colony of endangered African penguins. And, as always with Titan, our VIP Home Departure Service means your holiday begins the moment you close your front door.

Have you been on a South Africa adventure? We'd love to hear about it on our Facebook page!

Nicola considers herself very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit a number of places around the world and these experiences usually involve searching for as many kinds of wildlife as possible. Recent highlights include penguins in Antarctica, bears and whales in Canada and Alaska and sea otters in California - but there are always more animals to search for.
