Day 1 - UK - In flight

Our nationwide shared chauffeur service collects you from home for your overnight flight to Mumbai.

Day 2 - Mumbai

Arrive in Mumbai and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 - Mumbai

Discover the highlights of Mumbai on a morning orientation tour. Visit the iconic Gateway of India, then continue to Mani Bhavan, once the city residence of Mahatma Gandhi. Explore the Prince of Wales Museum, home to art and artefacts spanning India’s history, followed by a short walking tour around Kala Ghoda. Pause for photos at Victoria Terminus Station. The evening is at leisure.

Day 4 - Mumbai - Bandhavgarh National Park

Drive to Mumbai airport for flight to Jabalpur, then drive to Bandhavgarh. The journey takes approximately four hours, arriving in time to unwind at the lodge and enjoy the lush surroundings. Relax beside the tree-shaded pool or on a private terrace with a book and a coffee.

Day 5 - Bandhavgarh National Park

In the morning, join a jungle safari drive. Once a hunting ground for maharajahs, the park now serves as a protected reserve, home to white and Bengal tigers, leopards, elephants, sloth bears and many other species. More than 250 bird species can also be spotted here. In afternoon, explore the forest on foot with an expert naturalist, observing the flora up close.

Day 6 - Bandhavgarh National Park

Wake early for a morning safari, when the forest comes alive with the sounds of wildlife. Keep your camera ready – spot elusive predators, herds of deer, or a variety of birds in their natural habitat. After some downtime at the lodge, set out for a second safari in the late afternoon, when the changing light brings out the park’s striking landscapes and offers another chance to witness its remarkable wildlife in action.

Day 7 - Kanha National Park

Drive to Kanha National Park, a 940-square-kilometre park famous for its population of tigers and deer.

Day 8 - Kanha National Park

Enter the park at sunrise for a jungle safari with an experienced ranger, observing wildlife as it wakes and patrols in the cool morning air. In the afternoon, visit a nearby Gond tribal village to share a cup of chai, admire traditional paintings and learn skills directly from the artists.

Day 9 - Kanha National Park

Enjoy another early morning safari, and later head out on an afternoon safari to explore a different park zone to spot wildlife along riverbanks, across open savannahs, or within ancient woods. Birdwatchers should keep binoculars handy – more than 200 species inhabit the park, including black ibis, hawk eagle, and red-wattled lapwing.

Day 10 - Kanha National Park - Pench National Park

Travel by road to Pench National Park in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura hills. The lodge, located a kilometre from the park, provides an ideal base to explore this wildlife-rich reserve – the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Jungle Book’. An afternoon safari ventures deeper into the park in search of its inhabitants. Sloth bears doze on rocky outcrops, flying squirrels leap between trees, and crocodiles wallow in the network of lakes. Eyes remain alert for elusive leopards and tigers.

Day 11 - Pench National Park

Start the day with a morning jungle safari, exploring the park’s forests and clearings in search of its wildlife. After lunch, head out on an afternoon safari to discover more of Pench’s diverse habitats

Day 12 - Pench National Park - Delhi

After breakfast, transfer to the airport – a journey of approximately four hours. In the afternoon, fly to Delhi for an overnight stay.

Day 13 - Delhi - UK

Transfer to the airport for your return flight back to the UK. Upon arrival, your vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
