The Spirit of Andalucia
We love...
Watching authentic flamenco dancing in its birthplace, Seville. Fiery, furious, passionate - and unforgettable.
A heady mix of cultures and faiths, dramatic mountain ranges and glorious sunshine make holidays to Andalucía a joy. Join us as we tour Granada’s Alhambra (the Red Castle), an intricate fortified palace with centuries of reinvention. Step inside the Mezquita at Cordoba and witness this intriguing mosque-cathedral’s cool, graceful beauty. Marvel at Seville Cathedral’s epic proportions and Gothic intricacy. Explore Ronda, a fine example of Andalucia’s whitewashed villages (pueblos blancos). And sample some of Andalucia in a bottle with a tasting of sherry in Jerez.

Granada is a sprawling jumble of old Spanish flair and Islamic-influenced architecture. It has inspired travellers for centuries. The only medieval Arab palace still in existence, it is recognised as one of the Wonders of the World. We also visit the verdant Generalife Gardens. Full of secret corners, trickling fountains and blooming walkways, it’s the beautiful home of the summer palace. Please note there’s a considerable amount of walking involved today.

We love venturing into the oldest part of the city, where cobbled streets open up onto lively squares and beautiful churches tower overhead.
