Nuremberg is a city with charming half-timbered houses, tasty bratwurst, locally brewed beer and glorious medieval architecture. We’ll spend two days nestled near the best parts of the city to explore the very best it has to offer, including the castle of Kaiserburg. Then we take to the water to glide through the fairytale scenes of the Main River. Visit Bamberg’s twist of medieval streets, wind along the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, explore the Würzburg Residence Palace and find yourself in the heart of Germany’s wine-growing region. We’ll spend long, leisurely afternoons sailing through scenic splendour, including the narrow Rhine Gorge.
