Day 2 - Corfu Town
A tour of Corfu Town begins at Patounis’ Soap Factory, which has produced pure traditional soap, renowned for its disinfecting and healing properties, from locally produced olive products since 1891. From here we walk along the market halls to the UNESCO-listed Old Town. It’s dominated by an impressive 16th-century Venetian fortress. A guided walk introduces you to attractions such as the Church of St Spyridon, dedicated to the patron saint of Corfu who was credited with saving Corfu from famine, plagues and invasions. You have some free time to explore the town, before we return to the hotel.

Day 4 - The Scenic North
Our first stop on our tour of the north of the island is Paleokastritsa. This beautiful old fishing village is home to the 13th-century Theotokou monastery. Unaltered for hundreds of years, it holds many old artefacts. We continue to Lakones at Bella Vista, to enjoy the magnificent views over Paleokastritsa and Corfu, before a scenic drive to Kassiopi where you may choose to spend your free time exploring the narrow streets. We take in wonderful views of the Albanian Mountains as we return along a coastal road. Please note: Due to current restrictions, the visit to Theotokou Monastery may not be possible during your holiday. If this is the case, we'll visit Agia Paraskevi Monastery instead.

Day 6 - Mouse Island - Mon Repos
Our morning excursion starts with a visit to Kanoni, where you can enjoy views over Mouse Island (Pontikonissi). According to myth, this rocky island is actually the ship of Odysseus, which was turned to stone by Poseidon. There may be time to take a boat over for a visit, if you wish. We’ll also visit the 19th-century villa of Mon Repos, situated within a park brimming with exotic plants. Originally built as the residence of the British High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands, it later became a summer home for the Greek royal family and was the birthplace of the late Prince Philip. It's now a fascinating museum showcasing the island’s history. We finish with a guided tour of a local kumquat distillery, where you’ll learn how the island’s signature liqueur is made from this small citrus fruit, unique to Corfu, before enjoying a tasting.
