Historic Gems of Malta
We love...
Spending a full day exploring Malta's rugged sister island of Gozo, including its grand citadel in Victoria. Gaining an insight into life during the Malta blitz at the fascinating National War Museum in Valletta.
This island nation’s strategic location in the middle of the Mediterranean, just south of Sicily, has created a fascinating history. On our 8-day Malta tours you’ll get to explore its tiny 16th-century capital, Valletta, built by the Knights of St John. Then travel even further back in time to around 3600 BC with a humbling visit to Hagar Qim (Worshipping Stones), a megalithic temple complex. Round off your historical immersion with a visit to the atmospheric towns of Mosta, Rabat and Mdina.
