Day 1 - UK - Olbia

Our nationwide shared chauffeur service collects you from home for your flight to Olbia. On arrival, transfer to the locally rated 4-star DP Hotel.

Day 2 - Olbia – Castelsardo - Alghero

Travel north along Sardinia’s rugged coastline to Castelsardo, a medieval hilltop town dramatically set above the sea. Join a guided visit through its winding stone streets, where pastel houses cling to the rock and traditional basket weavers still practise centuries-old craft techniques using dwarf palm. Enjoy free time for lunch before continuing inland to the Romanesque jewel of Basilica of SS Trinità di Saccargia, instantly recognisable for its striking black-and-white stonework and frescoed interior. Arrive in Alghero and check in to the locally rated 4-star Hotel Catalunya for two-night stay. Toast the evening with an aperitivo overlooking the sea from the Sky Bar before dinner at leisure in the old town.

Day 3 - Alghero

Discover Alghero on a guided walking tour, exploring its fortified old town, Catalan-influenced architecture, and harbour views shaped by centuries of maritime trade. This is one of Sardinia’s most distinctive cities, where Catalan is still echoed in local culture and cuisine. Pause for a traditional gelato before the afternoon adventure: a boat trip to the spectacular Neptune's Grotto. Enter one of the Mediterranean’s most dramatic sea caves, where stalactites and mirrored saltwater pools create an almost otherworldly landscape carved by millennia of waves. Return to Alghero for an evening at leisure downtown.

Day 4 - Alghero - Bosa - Oristano

Travel south along one of Sardinia’s most scenic coastal routes to Bosa, a colourful riverside town overlooked by Malaspina Castle. Wander its cobbled lanes before enjoying a guided tasting of Malvasia wine and local treats, a local variety known for its sweet, aromatic profile shaped by the island’s warm climate. Continue to the ancient ruins of Tharros Archaeological Site, where Phoenician and Roman remains sit dramatically above the sea, accompanied by a panoramic mini-train ride. Arrive in Oristano for a two-night stay at the locally rated 4-star Mariano IV Palace Hotel. Dinner is included.

Day 5 - Barumini and Cagliari

Visit Sardinia’s prehistoric heart at Su Nuraxi di Barumini, a UNESCO-listed complex built by the Nuragic civilisation over 3,000 years ago. Explore its labyrinth of stone towers and defensive structures with a local guide who brings its ancient engineering to life. Continue to Cagliari for free time at lunch before a guided walking tour of the city’s historic quarter. Admire the medieval ramparts, the Bastione di Saint Remy, and the cathedral district, all perched above sweeping sea views. Return to Oristano for an evening at leisure with dinner included.

Day 6 - Oristano - Costa Smeralda

Begin the day at the mysterious Sacro Pozzo di Santa Cristina, an extraordinary Nuragic sacred well aligned with celestial events and still impressing visitors with its precision stone construction. Continue into the Barbagia region and stop in Mamoiada, a village known for its dramatic wooden Carnival masks, including the iconic Mamuthones. Visit a traditional workshop and private collection to understand the symbolism behind these ancient traditions. After free time to buy lunch, travel on to Costa Smeralda. Check in for three nights at the locally rated Hotel Marana in Golfo di Marinella and enjoy a buffet dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 - Bonifacio, Corsica

Take the ferry from Santa Teresa Gallura across the sparkling strait to Corsica and arrive in Bonifacio, dramatically perched on white limestone cliffs. Explore the citadel with a guided visit and enjoy free time among its narrow streets and panoramic viewpoints. Return to Sardinia by ferry and continue to the Golfo di Marinella region.

Day 8 - Gallura

Head inland into Gallura’s rural landscape and visit a traditional stazzu farmhouse, where Sardinian pastoral life is preserved. Learn about local honey production, try traditional pasta-making, and enjoy a farm-to-table lunch featuring regional produce. Return to your hotel for a relaxed afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 - Porto Cervo - San Pantaleo - Olbia - UK

After check-out travel to the artistic village of San Pantaleo, where granite peaks frame artisan workshops and small cafés. Continue to Porto Cervo, the iconic heart of the Costa Smeralda, known for its yacht-filled marina and elegant piazzas designed for the international jet set. Later, transfer to Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport for your return flight to the UK Upon arrival, your vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
