Day 2 - Olbia – Castelsardo - Alghero
Travel north along Sardinia’s rugged coastline to Castelsardo, a medieval hilltop town dramatically set above the sea. Join a guided visit through its winding stone streets, where pastel houses cling to the rock and traditional basket weavers still practise centuries-old craft techniques using dwarf palm. Enjoy free time for lunch before continuing inland to the Romanesque jewel of Basilica of SS Trinità di Saccargia, instantly recognisable for its striking black-and-white stonework and frescoed interior. Day 4 - Alghero - Bosa - Oristano
Travel south along one of Sardinia’s most scenic coastal routes to Bosa, a colourful riverside town overlooked by Malaspina Castle. Wander its cobbled lanes before enjoying a guided tasting of Malvasia wine and local treats, a local variety known for its sweet, aromatic profile shaped by the island’s warm climate. Continue to the ancient ruins of Tharros Archaeological Site, where Phoenician and Roman remains sit dramatically above the sea, accompanied by a panoramic mini-train ride.
