A river cruise is a wonderfully relaxed way to travel. You’ll sail along scenic waterways at a slow pace, taking in the ever-changing views (perhaps with a glass of something chilled in hand). You’ll enjoy delicious food and drink, often tailored to the region you’re cruising through. You’ll spend each day somewhere new, but unpack just the once.
Our multi-day river cruises focus on the Nile, but we also offer the option of enjoying river cruises as excursions within a longer tour. In Spain, for example, you can glide down the Guadalquivir River as it threads through Seville; in Borneo, you’ll keep watch for pygmy elephants and proboscis monkeys as you cruise along the Kinabatangan River. Travelling by river is brilliant for offering a new perspective on a destination, giving you glimpses of sights you might not otherwise have seen.
On other tours, we’ll use river cruises as a means of travel – a speedboat along the mighty Mekong brings us from Cambodia’s capital into the vast network of waterways that makes up Vietnam’s Mekong Delta. And in eastern Canada, the St Lawrence River leads us from Quebec out towards the windswept islands of the Maritimes.
Each river cruise is different, but they all promise one thing: an incredible experience from start to finish.
