Day 2 - Athens
This morning, our guided tour will take us through the must-see landmarks of this historic capital. First, the Panathenaic Stadium – where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. We’ll pass the Prime Minister's residence, with its iconic Evzone guards in their colourful uniforms, and visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, Parliament, and more, before a stop at the iconic Acropolis and its museum. The afternoon is at leisure, and tonight, we’ll stroll to a charming Greek taverna for dinner.

Day 3 - Corinth Canal - Mycenae - Nafplio
Today's adventure takes us to the Peloponnese, beginning with a photo stop at the impressive Corinth Canal. This engineering marvel, carved through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth, connects the Aegean and Ionian seas. We’ll then visit Mycenae where we pay tribute to Agamemnon, the legendary king who led the Greeks during the Trojan War. His tragic tale of glory and betrayal is woven into the ruins of the once-mighty citadel. After a taverna lunch, we’ll wander the romantic streets of Nafplio, known for its Venetian fortifications, pastel-coloured neoclassical mansions, and sweeping coastal views. As Greece’s first capital, Nafplio is rich in history, with its roots stretching back to the Bronze Age.

Day 4 - Athens - Pireaus
After a leisurely morning, we’ll transfer to the port of Piraeus to embark our ship Celestyal Journey. There’ll be time to settle into cabins and familiarise with the ship before dinner tonight – from the seven restaurants, eight bars, two swimming pools and a fully quipped gym to a whole deck devoted to health and well-being, there’s lots to keep you entertained for the next week.

This morning, we reach the lively Turkish beach resort of Kusadasi, the gateway to Ephesus. From beach bars and restaurants to a grand bazaar, you’ll discover why this is such a popular holiday spot. For culture lovers, however, it’s the ancient city of Ephesus that is the main draw. Choose our optional excursion and explore one of the the world’s most extraordinary archaeological sites. Walk in the footsteps of ancient civilisations as you learn about these well-preserved ruins, from the grand Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre to the marble-paved streets that once bustled with life.

Day 6 - Rhodes
Today we arrive on Rhodes, the largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands known for its varied landscape and significant historical sites. One of the most prominent landmarks is the Acropolis of Lindos, situated on a clifftop overlooking the Aegean Sea. The island is also home to traditional hillside villages and coastal towns. Rhodes Old Town, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features cobbled streets and architecture influenced by the Ottomans and Italians, reflecting the island’s diverse past.

Day 7 - Agios Nikolaos (Crete)
This morning, we arrive in Agios Nikolaos, the capital of Crete’s Lassithi region, set on the Bay of Mirabello and one of the island’s most notable resort towns. The town is built around Lake Voulismeni, a small inland lake linked to the sea, which local tradition associates with the goddess Athena. Alongside its harbour and waterfront, Agios Nikolaos offers a range of cafés, shops, and squares that reflect its role as both a working town and a visitor destination. The wider area, stretching east from Heraklion, also includes the well-known resorts of Hersonissos and Malia.

Day 8 - Santorini
Santorini, sculpted by a volcanic past, is an island known for its iconic whitewashed houses and blue-domed churches overlooking the Aegean Sea – and we’ll have the entire day to soak it all in. Oia, a must-see village perched on Santorini’s northern tip, is about a 45-minute drive from the port, but it's well worth the trip. Famous for its spectacular sunsets, maze-like alleys, and boutiques, Oia offers a quintessential Greek island experience.

Day 9 - Mykonos
Wake up to striking views of Mykonos’ harbour, where narrow streets are lined with fashion boutiques and cosy restaurants, all framed by blue-shuttered houses and cascading pink bougainvillea. After soaking in the sights, why not hop on a quick boat ride to Delos? This sacred island, dedicated to Apollo, is home to the Aegean's largest archaeological site.

Today’s stop is the laid-back Milos. This stunning island is famous for its crystal-clear waters and striking volcanic rock formations. Did you know it’s also where the Venus de Milo was discovered?
