Day 2 - At sea

As we sail to our first exciting destination, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.

Black Watch (3T+)

Day 3 - Invergordon, Scotland

We arrive in the beautiful Scottish Highlands this morning. Invergordon acts as the gateway to legendary Loch Ness, as well as Culloden Battlefield, the site of the final Jacobite Rising in 1746. Alternatively, you could tour 15th century Cawdor Castle or sip single malt Scotch whisky at Glenmorangie Distillery.

Black Watch (3T+)

Day 4 - Kirkwall, Orkney Islands

Rugged landscapes and age-old sites await you in the Orkneys. From Kirkwall, the archipelago’s capital, you could visit the 5,000-year-old village of Skara Brae (home to Neolithic structure that pre-date Egypt’s pyramids) or the ancient stone circles at Brodgar and Stenness. There are also 12th century palace ruins and a grand cathedral to discover, and an interesting radio museum to tour.

Black Watch (3T+)

Day 5 - Ullapool - Cruising Loch Broom

Bustling Ullapool sits on the shores of beautiful Loch Broom. Spend your day here exploring the town (there’s an art gallery, an award-winning museum and a cast-iron clock claimed to be the most photographed in Scotland), visit Britain’s highest waterfall, or take a boat trip to glacier-carved Glencoul Loch. Ship to shore tender service. Later today, we’ll spend some time cruising the scenic waters of Loch Broom.

Black Watch (3T+)

Day 6 - Portree, Isle of Skye - Cruising Loch Torridon and Loch Shieldaig

We arrive in pretty Portree on the Isle of Skye today. Admire the pastel-painted houses edging the waterfront and learn about the island’s Gaelic heritage at An Tuireann Arts Centre. Alternatively, you might like to explore further afield - tours can take you to Kilt Rock sea cliff, loch-side Dunvegan Castle or 13th century Eilean Donan Castle. Ship to shore tender service. We end the day with more scenic cruising, taking in the rugged landscapes of Loch Torridon and Loch Shieldaig.

Day 7 - Cruising by Fingal’s Cave - Cruising Sound of Mull

Enjoy a relaxed morning as we cruise past dramatic Fingal’s Cave, a basalt sea cave that’s home to guillemots, puffins, razorbills and more; and across the stunning Sound of Mull, passing 13th century Duart Castle as we go.
