Create a photobook
Even though the wonders of modern tech means we can capture all our moments with just a click of a button, many of us still don’t actually download our holiday snaps. Which is a real shame when they are just lost in the ether. It can be truly wonderful to look back at photos and remember happy times - and even better when they are in a tangible photobook. For those who are a little unsure about putting together a photobook, they are surprisingly easy to do. All you need is to find digital provider such as photobox or bonusprint, choose a customisable template and then insert your photos. From adding personalised messages, to soft and hard covered books, the editing can be done online or via an app on a smartphone, which is even easier when you have your photos already stored there.
And the best thing, once you’re happy with the layout, you can just order there and then, and have your customised photobook delivered straight to your door. Perhaps you’ll order a few to share, or keep them for yourselves to build a travel collection of your very own - one that you can enjoy over and over again.
Put together a Dreamscape
Dreamscapes don’t have to be complicated, they just need to reflect your thoughts and your wishes. It could be as simple as adding magazine cuttings and photos to your fridge door, or sticking down images of bucket-list destinations onto piece of card. You can even go online and create digital Dreamscapes on sites including Pinterest and Moodboard which are both brilliant tools. Making your own Dreamscape will help keep your travel dreams and inspiration alive - and we have an example of one below that we made earlier.
Make a travel video
Turn all your video clips into a mini-movie. If you have several clips taking up precious memory space, and you don’t know what to do with them, making a film is a great way to share your travel experience with family and friends. By cutting down the long endless shots to bite-sized chunks and adding in text, voiceovers and music, means you can make a holiday video worth showing off.
While there are hundreds of video editing websites, apps and software, some of them can be complicated and overwhelming. But it is possible to produce one in relative ease, as long as you’re not looking to be the next Steven Spielberg!
Filmora and iMovie are popular, but for even simpler ways of video editing, smartphone apps such as InShot and Magisto means you can quickly put together video clips and images, edit the style and add your own music, without having to fire up the PC or laptop. Plus with lots of templates and tools to help, as well as online tutorials and FAQs, you’ll be turning our holiday footage into inspired travel videos.
Bring your digital photos to life
Although the conventional way to display treasured photos is to frame them and exhibit them around the house, these days there is so much more you can do with digital prints. From creating phone cases, t-shirts, mugs and even cushions, bring your best travel photographs to life and always be reminded of your dream holidays. You can even make calendars, postcards, blankets and jigsaw puzzles to give away as gifts. Snapfish UK has a great selection to choose from.
You can also create wall art, by turning your snaps into large prints or printed on canvas. Why not dedicate a wall space to exhibiting all your best images and create your very own art gallery?

Ting
Ting has a serious case of wanderlust. Having travelled to over 40 countries, it’s her mission in life to make her way through her ever-growing list. Her two young sons have also caught the travel bug, and recent trips have seen them making snow angels in Iceland while watching the Northern Lights, as well as walking alongside elephants in South Africa.
