Meet the people behind the holidays
Our customers often comment that it’s the ‘Titan people’ who elevate their travel experience far beyond their expectations. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of – everyone here at Titan has a passion and dedication for delivering exceptional holidays, from our tour managers to our VIP drivers who take you to and from the airport. But it’s not just the people you see. We also have fantastic behind-the-scenes teams who craft our itineraries, plus expert travel advisors who know our holidays inside out.
Holiday Creation Teams
These are the people who turn ideas into itineraries. From the first spark of inspiration, they’ll research, plan and refine until they’re putting the finishing touches to a carefully thought-out tour.
They draw on their own extensive experience and the advice of local experts to plan unforgettable journeys, revealing both the standout highlights and hidden gems of a destination and including time to relax or make your own discoveries.
Knowledgeable Travel Advisors
Our travel advisors are here to help you choose the right holiday. They know our tours and cruises inside out, often from personal experience. Ask them for advice, assistance or first-hand recommendations – they’re more than happy to help.
Ben Davis, Head of Product & OperationsI’ve been part of the team here at Titan for more than 20 years, and currently head up our product department. It’s a specialist team of 20, including five expert product creation managers who carefully craft each Titan holiday. The people in our product teams are our ‘holiday creators’ – they’re constantly searching the globe for the best new travel experiences to add to our collection.
If I had to choose a favourite tour, I’d go for ‘Great New Zealand Discovery’ – an adventure to a truly spectacular country which offers some unique experiences. Staying overnight in Doubtful Sound was one of my travel highlights, along with whale watching in Kaikoura, one of the best places in the world to see these magnificent creatures. I also loved Japan – the culture shock experienced on my first visit was one of the best aspects of the trip!
I think what makes us stand out from the crowd is the attention to detail, and knowing what our customers want from their holiday. We listen very carefully to what clients tell us – and act on it. And our unrivalled VIP door-to-door travel service is the icing on the cake!
Robert Stapley, Senior Product Manager
I’ve been with Titan for 15 years now, experiencing a variety of roles within the product team over that time. Currently, I’m responsible for our river and ocean cruise holidays. I’ve always loved spending time afloat and have a real passion for travel and exploring new places, so cruising certainly ticks all the boxes for me! The expansion of our successful river cruise programme coupled with the endless opportunities to create ocean cruise and tour holidays worldwide is something I find really exciting.
I’ve been lucky enough to visit many of our holiday destinations – some of my most memorable trips include a river cruise on Portugal’s beautiful Douro River during the wine harvest, a Hurtigruten voyage in Spitsbergen (spotting polar bears!) and sailing aboard the superb Azamara Quest into the heart of Monaco as they were preparing for the Grand Prix.
Everyone here places great emphasis on customer service, and so much energy, effort and teamwork goes into creating our holidays. From our enticing brochures and thoughtfully planned itineraries, to the expert tour managers and fantastic VIP door-to-door service, a Titan holiday is the complete package, allowing travellers to truly relax and get the most out of their holiday right from the start.
Phil Ellis, Product Manager
I have 14 years’ experience in the travel industry, ten of those as a product manager. I’ve travelled extensively and am always enthusiastic about discovering new and interesting places that few people have experienced – and introducing them into our itineraries!
I have a love for wildlife and often find myself being drawn back to Africa to search those ever-active plains. I recently returned from visiting the gorillas and chimpanzees of Uganda – a life-affirming experience and one which created memories that’ll never fade.
I focus on putting together our tours in Africa, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia and China. Recently, I’ve expanded my portfolio by venturing into northern Europe and the Baltic regions. I’m extremely excited about developing these areas further and creating some exciting new tours for our clients to experience.
For me, the most important thing when putting together an itinerary is understanding what Titan customers really want to experience, while ensuring that we interact with local life and don’t become voyeurs. It’s vital for me to meet the many people who bring our journeys to life in each destination face to face. It gives me the opportunity to personally thank them for taking such great care of our travellers, and I also take the chance to instil in them the Titan ethos – so our travellers always receive the service and experience they’re expecting.
The first thing that struck me when I joined Titan was how everyone within the business really cared about the customers. I strongly believe that our tour managers and guides breathe extra life into our tours, and their professionalism and expertise allow our customers to relax and enjoy their holiday to the fullest.
Jayne White, Product Manager
I’ve enjoyed 27 years in the travel industry, with seven years overall here at Titan. I look after a diverse product range, including North America, the UK and Switzerland. I’ve travelled the length and breadth of Canada and Switzerland, and am enjoying expanding my travel list to much of the USA and UK.
My two favourite trips from 2017 were both to the States. The first was experiencing our Awe-inspiring National Parks tour first hand, while the second was a visit my favourite state: Oregon. To this day, though, the most thrilling moment I’ve had on my travels was in Alaska, where I watched humpback whales swimming in their natural habitat. It’s closely followed by seeing polar bears in the wild in Churchill Manitoba, Canada – wildlife moments really do stay with you forever. (As you can probably imagine, I’m very excited about my trip to see grizzly bears in beautiful British Columbia later this year!)
What really makes the difference on our tours is the range and quality of inclusions – each member of our product team really cares about delivering the very best experience. We listen to feedback from customers and tour managers, and strive to continually refine and enhance our itineraries so we deliver a ‘holiday of a lifetime’.
Cassie Stickland, Product Manager
My favourite travel experience to date was seeing orangutans and pygmy elephants up close and personal in Malaysian Borneo – amazing. I also loved exploring Chile. The country has so much to offer in terms of variety – great wine regions, cosmopolitan cities, lake districts and national parks, the Atacama Desert and the fjords of Patagonia. Having visited six out of the seven continents worldwide, a trip to Antarctica is next on my list!
I started out in the travel industry in a product and operations role, which gave me valuable insight into the ins and outs of what makes a holiday run smoothly and all the details that need to be absolutely perfect to ensure we’re delivering exceptional experiences. Six years later, I am now responsible for some fantastic far-flung destinations – Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Southeast Asia and Central & South America.
The itineraries we create here at Titan allow our customers to see the best of a destination, as well as giving them the freedom to relax, unwind and enjoy activities pertaining to their own particular interests. Whether it’s architecture, food or culture, our expert tour managers and local guides are always on hand to point them in the right direction and give them hints and tips that are just not readily available when travelling independently.
Alison Porter, Product Manager
I’m the newest member of the team here at Titan, but I’ve worked in the travel business for more than 20 years, finding and sculpting holiday itineraries. Although I’m well-travelled across all four corners of the globe, I have a real passion for European adventures. I lived in Austria for nearly a decade, and most recently I’ve spent time travelling through Croatia (with fond memories of drinks and delicious seafood at Makarska’s harbourside restaurants).
My tours focus on southern Europe, and I love being able to offer such exciting itineraries so close to home. It’s fantastic to be able to deliver an expectant group of people into a whole new culture with only a short flying time.
From enchanting scenery and stunning lakeside locations, to historic cities and new culinary delights, there is a wealth of new experiences to enjoy and take home as lasting memories.
In my eyes, the best bit about travelling with Titan is the fact that we do all the hard work for you. We ensure that all the must-see sights are covered, but also that some of the lesser-known gems are included – nothing gets forgotten, so all you have to worry about is enjoying the experience. We also always try to make sure you’ll get a flavour of your destination, featuring tastings where appropriate to encourage you to try local and regional specialities.
Sam is very enthusiastic and enjoy life’s many challenges. He has always been fascinated with the travel industry and has travelled all over Europe and Canada. Sam has had the privilege of being able to work in the travel industry for the last 4 years working in Greece, Spain and Bulgaria and now here in the UK in Titan’s sales team.
Emily joined Titan back in 2008 and started in the cruise team. She had never worked in travel before but she found being surrounded by people passionate about the subject was infectious and she soon caught the travel bug! In the last few years she has been able to expand her travel experiences going to places such as California, Mexico, and a Douro river cruise, as well as city breaks like Venice, Krakow and Paris.
Ferhat has worked in the travel industry for a number of years; five of those have been with Titan Travel. He has travelled to Mexico, Australia and has travelled with Fred Olsen around the Baltics. Ferhat was born in Turkey and travels back there to see family once a year. He was recently recognised for his outstanding customer service skills by TTG magazine.
Sophie has been in the travel industry now for 9 years. This includes work as a travel agent, at the airport and also for tour operators. She has travelled to many different destinations varying from sightseeing in USA (Boston, New York, San Antonio, Austin, Los Angeles, Palm Springs and San Diego), to a safari in Kenya and cruising along the Rhine in Germany. She has also visited various other destinations in Europe and the Caribbean.
Kelly joined the Titan team in 2014. She cannot wait to travel on the tours herself to personally experience our destinations iconic highlights and hidden gems. She would love to see the wonders of the world and intends to visit as many places as possible.

Having worked in the travel and tourism industry for over 10 years, she has always had a passion for travel and enjoys visiting as many new places as she can, trying foods from all over the world and experiencing new cultures. She speaks three languages and enjoys practicing these.
Edward has worked within the Travel Industry for the last 3 years and has been fortunate enough to travel to several different countries during this time. He has been to Europe many times and feels this is his specialist area.
Lisa is a mum of two children aged 21 & 17, she has always loved to travel since a young age and tries to give her daughters the same experiences she has had from visiting so many different places throughout her life.
Joe has always had a passion for travel, having travelled quite a bit when he was younger. His original ambitions for work were not travel but having fallen into it, he really enjoys helping to create unforgettable experiences for our clients.
From an early age, I have always wanted to work in the Travel Industry and have been lucky enough to be working in the industry for 10 years now. I have only just recently joined the Titan team and look forward to selling the products and helping customers find their ideal holiday and creating unforgettable experiences. I cannot wait to experience the tours myself and would love to do the South African Safari Adventure. I love having the chance just to relax lounging by the pool reading a book, but also love to go on fun packed holidays making sure I experience and do everything that destination has to offer.
From a young age the thought of going on an aircraft terrified Jo. Her first experience of long haul was to New Orleans which she did alone, meeting some fantastic people on the aircraft who took care of her was just the start of her travelling experience... since then she has been privileged to travel to many destinations including California, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Canada, Cuba, Egypt, New York, Italy, Corfu, Majorca, Morocco and France.
After a family holiday to New York, Nicole remembers looking back across Brooklyn Bridge thinking one day she would return - and that was the start of her travelling tales. Since then she has travelled round the world on several occasions on holidays and back packing exploring places not on the tourist trail. She loves to experience different cultures and has a particular love for wildlife watching.
