Introducing the Rovos Rail

The Edwardian-style furnishing and its colonial glamour and elegance capture the romance of a bygone era without sacrificing the trappings of modern convenience. The pride of Africa has separate carriges with a relaxing lounge, an observation and dining car. Each suite accommodates two passengers in either double or twin beds and en suite bathrooms with showers. There is also a bar fridge filled with drinks of your choice.

  • Pullman suites (76sq feet) have comfortable sofa-seat during the day converted to a twin (bunk) or double bed for the evening
  • Deluxe suites are larger (118sq feet) with twin (same level) or double bed and lounge area

In addition to breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner, all alcoholic and soft drinks are included in the price. the dress code on the train is smart casual during the day. in the evening, a jacket and tie is required for gentlemen and cocktail/evening dress for ladies. All you need do is relax and enjoy the scenic panoramas as they unfold....
