Transfer of bookings - full terms and conditions

Titan is very proud of the close relationship it holds with the trade and would like to reassure ex Freedom / Future Travel Group members and affected homeworkers that we are here to support you. We really appreciate all the hard work independent agents do and wish to honour those affected by the collapse of the Thomas Cook Group as fairly as possible.   

We have been liaising closely with the main consortiums involved to come up with the following guidelines and hope that you are pleased with the outcome. We look forward to working with you in the future under your new consortium.

Please note these rules are subject to the approval of your new consortium/ agency. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are abiding by their rules before you request a transfer of any bookings. The following Titan terms are based on what we believe most of the new consortiums have agreed to.

Titan terms and conditions

Bookings departing before 31 December 2019

  • If the booking is paid in full to Titan  – Your booking will remain as it is under your Agency and final documents will be sent to you at the registered address on file. Any changes made to the booking before departure i.e. upgrades, adding excursions etc. with any extra monies due, payment will have to be made directly to Titan. Commission on all bookings paid in full has already been paid to Freedom/ Future, Titan cannot accept any new claims for commission.   
  • Deposit paid to Titan, but balance is due from client – Titan will be able to transfer all bookings where there is balance due following confirmation from your new consortium. If your new consortium will not accept the transfer of your booking it will remain with Titan until the remaining balance has been paid.  We believe this may only be a handful of bookings so will deal with these on an ad hoc basis. 
  • Un-clean bookings / Pipeline monies missing -  If the deposit or balance is missing i.e. clients have paid Freedom/ Future but this money has not been passed to Titan your new consortiums are unable to take these bookings then Titan will have to administer these bookings.

Bookings departing after 01 January 2020

  • Clean bookings - Under the agreement of your new consortium, Titan will transfer all bookings and pay full commission on all clean bookings; where the deposit has been paid to Titan and there is no other missing pipeline money (i.e. unpaid balance or instalments) 
  • Un-clean bookings – If the deposit or balance has not been paid to Titan or there is any other missing pipeline monies, your new consortiums are unable to take these bookings then Titan will have to administer these bookings.

Freedom/ Future homeworkers

  • The same terms and conditions apply for all Freedom / Future homeworkers. All bookings must be agreed to and accepted by your new consortium. It is the homeworker’s responsibility to ensure that they are abiding by their rules before submitting a transfer request of any booking. For data protection, homeworkers will also need to provide some proof or documentation that the booking is your own. We may also need a new address to send future documentation to.
