Spirit of Discovery boasts its very own theatre. Raked seating for more than 400 guests means the best seat in the house is yours, wherever you sit. Expect colourful shows, live music, guest entertainers, cinema screenings and more.

The classic Britannia Lounge

The signature Britannia Lounge is an exciting, multi-purpose venue where you’ll always find something to see and do. During the day, it’s the venue for talks from guest speakers, or simply relaxing and admiring the view. Then, later at night, it comes alive with dancing and live performances. There’ll be two sets of entertainment each evening across various genres, including singers, musicians and lecturers. 

Get active…or relax

Keep active at sea with the ship’s cutting-edge gym. Offering spectacular 270-degree views across the front of the ship, you’ve never experienced a workout like this before. For those simply wanting to relax, enjoy coffee or cocktails in the Living Room – the real heart of the ship – or curl up with a good book in the cosy Library and its adjoining coffee shop. You can also meet up with friends in the South Cape Bar, just one of the ship’s sociable spaces. 

The serene spa

There’s no better time to indulge than on those long, leisurely days at sea. Flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, this is the perfect sanctuary for some serious ‘me time’. Choose from the hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room. From hot stone massage to facials, and manicures to hairdressing, it’s a little slice of heaven wherever you are in the world.

The Club by Jools Holland

Opt for dinner and a show at stylish steakhouse and cocktail bar The Club by Jools Holland. Designed and produced by Jools and his team, this elegant space is based on a ‘50s cabaret club. This is the place to enjoy live music with resident and guest musicians entertaining until late. Jools Holland himself will be on board several cruises during Spirit of Discovery’s inaugural 2019/20 season.
