Vietnam, Hong Kong & Singapore with Phuket
Day 1 UK - In flight
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your overnight flight to Hong Kong.
Day 2 Hong Kong (overnight)
Other than embarking Boudicca (3.5-star), your day is free to explore. At first sight, Hong Kong is a hectic mix of bright lights, towering skyscrapers and crowded streets. This city is renowned for its incredible skyline where, at night, the skyscrapers attempt to out-do each other with their extravagant light shows.
Day 3 Hong Kong
Enjoy another day in Hong Kong, with highlights such as the beautifully detailed Tian Tin Buddha and Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple. Perhaps take a tram to Victoria Peak for magnificent views over the harbour before returning to the ship in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.
Day 4 At sea
As we sail to our next exciting destination, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.
Day 5 Danang, Vietnam
Among Danang’s hectic streets, you’ll find interesting historical sites including Phap Lam Pagoda and Danang Cathedral, one of Vietnam’s most unique Catholic churches. If you’re seeking sunshine, the city also has 30km of breathtaking coastline, which includes long stretches of white sand. Be sure to be at the incredible Dragon Bridge at 9pm, when flames stream from the golden dragon’s mouth.
Day 6 At sea
Today is free as we continue our cruise. Enjoy a hearty breakfast then take your pick from the variety of activities on board. Show off your general knowledge in an afternoon or evening quiz. Try your hand at bridge, bingo or deck quoits. Or indulge in a traditional afternoon tea to while away your time. Top off the day with a sumptuous dinner or a simple tasty buffet.
Day 7 Halong Bay
The emerald green and aquamarine waters of Halong Bay are scatted with more than 1,900 unspoilt limestone islets and karsts. Many of these soaring, tree-topped pinnacles hide caverns, grottos and lakes, which you may be able to glimpse on an unforgettable cruise of the bay. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 8 At sea
Spend the day on board. Maybe read a book and relax or choose to listen to a fascinating talk by a guest speaker. Enjoy lunchtime melodies or a piano recital, then walk a mile with the cruise fitness instructor.
Day 9 Nha Trang
Nha Trang is a great destination for scuba diving, with a vast array of fish swimming amongst the coral reef. The white sandy beaches are perfect for some time out, or there’s the Studio & Art Gallery, where renowned photographer Long Thanh showcases striking monochrome images of Vietnam. Culture lovers should also visit the Po Nagar Tower, a well-preserved Cham temple tower dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country.
Days 10-11 Ho Chi Minh City (overnight)
You have two days to get lost in the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, the vast and cosmopolitan hub formerly known as Saigon. Take a seat in a theatre for traditional stories acted out by water puppets. Or take an excursion into the highlands and rainforests that rustle and sing with exotic wildlife.
Day 12 At sea
Keep your brain active with the morning quiz, then perfect your dance moves in the afternoon with a beginners’ class. After dinner, you could continue the dancing theme and join the hosted dancing, or choose to watch the professionals instead.
Days 13-14 Singapore (overnight)
Singapore is a multicultural city-state, with the red-and-gold Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Chinatown, a cricket field from its colonial past, and tropical gardens on skyscraper balconies leading the way for the future. We arrive around lunchtime on day 13, and leave late afternoon on day 14, to allow time to wander through Little India, praise the ornately decorated Hindu Sri Mariamman Temple, amble through the Botanic Gardens, learn about the city’s cultural development at the Asian Civilisations Museum, and sip a Singapore Sling at Raffles Long Bar.
Day 15 At sea
As we sail onwards to Phuket you may want to rest after all your sightseeing. If you’re still full of energy, there‘s lots to fill your time - from quizzes, games and music recitals to walks on deck and dance classes. And of course there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy all the tasty food options.
Day 16 Phuket, Thailand
We disembark in Phuket, a rain-forested, mountainous island with wonderful soft white beaches fringed by shady palm trees and grass huts. We spend three nights here, with plenty of time for you to relax in paradise.
Day 17 Koh Yao Noi
Today we take a speedboat to Koh Yao Noi. It’s a true paradise island, with quiet beaches and mangrove shrubs that are home to curious marine creatures. Enjoy friendly hospitality and witness indigenous life as you watch villagers fishing in the crystal-clear azure waters. Visit a local fishery farm, and try your hand at the ancient art form of batik painting. Then enjoy a delicious, authentic lunch at a homestay before exploring the island further. See the verdant rice paddies, spot grazing buffalo, drink coconut juice fresh from the tree and witness the traditional process of rubber tapping.
Day 18 Phuket
Head across the island for an optional excursion focusing on old Phuket Town’s former glory. Learn about the island’s indigenous culture at the Thalang National Museum. Visit Hindu temples and Buddhist shrines scattered across the island (including the 45m-tall Big Buddha High, sitting on the island's finest viewpoint in the Nakkerd Hills). Or, if you long to return to the water, explore the uninhabited outcrops of tall limestone crags that rise straight out of the sea, just offshore.
Day 19 Phuket - In flight
Soak up a little more sun and the culture, before our late evening transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
Day 20 UK
Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
