Day 1 London - In flight
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and a scheduled British Airways or another leading airline flight to Colombo.
Day 2 - Colombo, Sri Lanka (overnight)
Upon arrival, you will be met by Voyages to Antiquity representatives and transferred to embark Aegean Odyssey (4T) with time to settle into your cabin before dinner tonight.
Day 3 - Colombo
Choose between two excursions from Sri Lanka’s thriving capital, Colombo. Enjoy a sightseeing city tour discovering the ancient Kelaniya Temple built on the banks of Kelani River, Colombo National Museum, and the historic Independence Square. Or, see Asian elephants up close as they bathe, play and eat at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Alternatively, join a full-day optional excursion to the city of Kandy and its Temple of the Tooth. We set sail late evening.
Day 4 - At sea
Day 5 - Kuda Bandos, Maldives
Step ashore on to the pristine white sands of Kuda Bandos. We’ll have time to explore this mesmerising island and take a dip in the glistening sea - perfect for snorkelling - before enjoying a delicious barbecue on the beach.
Days 6-9 - At sea
Day 10 - Mahé, Seychelles (overnight)
The Seychelles’ main island, Mahé is a slice of paradise with its gorgeous bays, tranquil white-sanded beaches, unforgettable snorkelling opportunities, and mountainous jungle. Our tour discovers the island’s treasure trove of flora with a stroll through the enchanting Botanical Garden, and drive to San Soucis Mountain and the Mission Lodge, where breathtaking views over the mountains, ocean and coast await.
Day 11 - Mahé
Enjoy a day at leisure on this pristine island, or join an optional excursion exploring the outstanding coral on a glass-bottomed boat; you’ll be able to snorkel and enjoy some hand fish feeding.
Days 12-14 - At sea
Day 15 - Port Louis, Mauritius (overnight)
Choice of two excursions today: discover the exquisite tropical plants of Pamplemousses Garden, the oldest botanical garden in the Southern Hemisphere; or visit Eureka Colonial House, featuring lush gardens and antique collections.
Day 16 - Port Louis
Take in the beauty of Port Louis independently today. Alternatively, choose from two optional excursions: an exploration of the Mauritius with visits to the 100m-deep dormant-volcanic crater of Trou aux Cerfs and the incredible coloured earth at Chamarel; or visit Casela Nature Park.
Day 17 - St Denis, Réunion
Take a morning tour of St Denis, or discover the Indian Ocean’s French island of Réunion, with time in the town of St Paul, home to grand colonial buildings and pretty gardens.
Days 18-21 - At sea
Day 22 - Richards Bay, South Africa (overnight)
Spend the day on a sightseeing adventure in Hluhluwe Game Reserve, one of South Africa’s oldest game reserves stretching across 96,000 hectares and home to all of the Big Five. Optional excursions to Leopard Mountain or an overnight visit to Phinda Mountain are also available.
Day 23 - Richards Bay
Drive to the World Heritage Site of iSimangaliso Wetland Park and take in the wildlife on a walking trail and two-hour boat cruise; the park is home to vast numbers of wildlife including hippos, crocodile, elephant, leopard, rhino and over 500 species of bird.
Day 24 - Durban
Visit the charming old city of Pietermaritzburg filled with picturesque Victorian architecture, and visit the Natal Museum, Churchill Square, and the railway station - where Gandhi was historically removed from a train in 1893 for travelling in first class. Or, take an optional visit to Sharks Board, the control centre for anti-shark measures on Durban’s bathing beaches.
Day 25 - At sea

Enjoy a full-day included tour to join a private safari. Alternatively take an optional excursion with game drive to Lalibela Game Reserve, spread over 7,500 hectares of the malaria-free Eastern Cape countryside, where many species of wildlife exist, including the Big Five and other game species such as hippo, cheetah, giraffe, antelope and hyena.
Day 27 - Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth is South Africa’s fifth largest city, with plenty to offer visitors. Enjoy a half-day city tour exploring the Shark Rock Pier, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Campus, Donkin Museum, Fort Frederick, and The Old Mayor’s Garden. Alternatively, enjoy an optional two-night overland tour along the Garden Route.
Day 28 - At sea
Day 29 - Cape Town (overnight)
Take an exhilarating journey on a cable car to the top of Table Mountain for outstanding views over Cape Town and the surrounding mountains. Later, enjoy a short orientation tour of this attractive city.
Day 30 - Cape Town (overnight)
Drive to the town of Stellenbosch surrounded by lush vineyards and a backdrop of towering mountains. You’ll discover these fertile lands which host around 200 wine and grade producers, as well as learning of the wine-making process and enjoying wine tasting at one of the great estates.
Day 31 - Cape Town (overnight)
Enjoy time at leisure in Cape Town, or join an optional tour to Cape Point viewing the spectacular sea cliffs at the most south-westerly point of Africa.
Day 32 Cape Town - In flight
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for a scheduled British Airways or another leading airline flight to London.
Day 33 London
Arrive at London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport, where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
