Days 1-2 UK - In flight
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Cairns.
Day 3 Cairns, Australia
Upon arrival in Cairns, you will be met and transferred to the Pullman Cairns International (4T), for a four-night stay. The hotel is located in the city centre, overlooking the harbour and mountains, and the pier is also only a short walk away. The remainder of the day is free.
Day 4 Cairns
Today is free to explore Cairns or take advantage of the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by tropical gardens.
Day 5 Great Barrier Reef
We take an exhilarating catamaran ride to the Outer Barrier Reef. Snorkel, or view the undersea world from an underwater observatory or semi-submersible boat. The day includes morning and afternoon tea plus a hot and cold buffet lunch.
Day 6 Kuranda
We enjoy a wonderful Kuranda Scenic Railway ride, with a photo-stop at the dramatic Barron Falls, before some free time in picturesque Kuranda town. Later, watch an award-winning show at Tjapukai Park’s Aboriginal Dance Theatre.
Day 7 - Cairns
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning, before being met and transferred to Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal to embark Azamara Quest® (5T). We sail early evening.
Day 8 - At sea
Spend the day sailing in style aboard your boutique hotel at sea. Indulge in a treatment at Sanctum Spa, stay ship-shape with a class in the fitness centre, or lounge the day away on the sunny pool deck.
Day 9 - Thursday Island
Embrace the relaxed, tropical vibe of this island located in the waterway that separates Australia from Papua New Guinea. With a diverse mix of cultures thanks to its geography and intriguing history, Thursday Island offers sites of interest like the Green Hill Fort, the Gab Titui Cultural Centre, and the Japanese Pearl Diver’s Cemetery to discover more about Thursday Island’s fascinating history.
Day 10 - At sea
Days 11-12 - Darwin
The capital of Australia’s Northern Territory, Darwin offers a wealth of parks and conservation areas to visit, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park - an incredible combination of lush rainforests, wetlands, wildlife, and a treasure trove of Aboriginal rock art. You can also enjoy miles of pristine beaches like Casuarina Beach and Mindil Beach, not to mention fantastic fishing for the region’s iconic fish - the barramundi.
Days 13-14 - At sea
Day 15 - Komodo, Indonesia
One of the New7Wonders of Nature and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Komodo National Park is home to the Komodo dragon and pink sand beaches - one of only seven places in the world with these distinct shores. Their unique hue is thanks to the surrounding coral, which is also home to an astonishing amount of sea life. Strap on your mask and snorkel to explore an entirely different world beneath the waves.
Day 16 - Benoa, Bali
Believe the hype about Bali. Black sand beaches, rejuvenating hot springs and lush forests create an unforgettable escape in Indonesia. Visit popular places where the rich and famous frequent, or find your own private hideaway off the beaten path. In addition to perfecting the art of relaxation, you'll want to take in unique music and dance styles, and sample some delicious Indonesian cuisine.
Day 17 - Surabaya
Cultures come together in Surabaya. Beautiful Buddhist temples and Mosques, including the historic Masjid Ampel, are visible throughout the city. The Arab quarter is home to narrow lanes filled with stalls selling keepsakes for your journey. Elsewhere, visit the House of Sampoerna, a unique clove museum where you can also sample delicious authentic Indonesian cuisine.
Day 18 - Semarang (Borobudur)
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Prambanan is a collection of massive Hindu temples and a national symbol of Indonesia. And then for something completely different, head to nearby Borobudur, the largest Buddhist monument in the world. The twin soaring - and active - volcanoes on the horizon are the perfect backdrop to watch the sunset over this fertile landscape.
Day 19 - At sea
Day 20 - Singapore
Sink your teeth into this foodie’s paradise and be sure to try to the unofficial dish of the city, chili crab. If eating can be considered the national pastime in Singapore, shopping makes a decent case as the second most popular activity. Head to Orchard Road where miles upon miles of shopping malls await featuring everything from the trendiest fashions to the latest electronic gadgets.
Day 21 Singapore - In flight
We disembark this morning and join a sightseeing tour of Singapore. The rest of the day is at leisure. After an early dinner, we transfer to the airport for an overnight return flight to the UK.
Day 22 UK
Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
