Day 1 - Glasgow (Greenock), Scotland
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Glasgow. On arrival, you are met by Voyages to Antiquity representatives and transferred to Greenock, where we embark Aegean Odyssey (4T) in preparation for an evening sailing.
Day 2 - Scenic cruising - Oban
For pure drama and rugged beauty, there’s little to beat the islands of the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of Scotland. Relax on board your ship today as we sail through the Sound of Mull and visit Oban, for to explore Inveraray Castle, the imposing home of the Duke of Argyll.
Day 3 - Tobermory
Time at leisure to visit Tobermory; the main village on the Isle of Mull adds a splash of colour to the island’s wild, natural landscape. Maybe visit the small museum or the scenic Aros Park, or go in search of whales, dolphins, seals and white-tailed eagles, Britain’s largest bird.
Day 4 - Killybegs, Ireland
This morning we arrive in the small town of Killybegs, on Ireland’s Donegal Peninsula, where you can learn about the local weaving and fishing industries at the Maritime and Heritage Centre or head out of town to enjoy the picturesque Fintra Beach.
Day 5 - At sea
Enjoy a leisurely day as we cruise along the west coast of Ireland, sailing past the spectacular Cliffs of Moher in County Clare and the Arran Islands in Galway Bay.
Day 6 - Glengariff
This morning we pay a visit to lovely Bantry Bay and the town of Killarney, set in one of the most wild and beautiful areas of Ireland. We take a drive along a section of the Ring of Kerry coastal road, enjoying the spectacular scenery, before we return to our ship.
Day 7 - Cork
We call in at Ireland’s second city, Cork, this morning, visiting the iconic Rock of Cashel, one of the country’s most important archaeological sites, and Blarney Castle, home of course to the world-famous Blarney Stone, said to bestow the gift of eloquence on those who kiss it.
Day 8 - Dublin (overnight)
We arrive in the characterful Irish capital, Dublin, for an overnight stay. Our guided tour this afternoon includes visits to Trinity College and medieval St Patrick's Cathedral, while this evening you are free to explore this fun-loving city at leisure. Maybe enjoy the ‘craic’ in the lively Temple Bar neighbourhood, filled with convivial bars, restaurants and music venues.
Day 9 - Dublin
There’s more time this morning to enjoy the sights of Dublin, such as Dublin Castle and the National Museum of Ireland, before we set sail across the Irish Sea this afternoon.
Day 10 - Cardiff, Wales
This morning we reach Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. We enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, visiting Cardiff Castle, originally built by the Normans in the 11th century and extensively renovated in the Gothic revival style in the 19th century.
Day 11 - Tresco, Isles of Scilly
Today we arrive in Tresco in the beautiful Isles of Scilly. Here, we pay a visit to the glorious Abbey Gardens, where around 20,000 plant species thrive in the sub-tropical climate.
Day 12 - Jersey, Channel Islands
The Channel Island of Jersey abounds with natural beauty and charm, renowned for its inviting beaches, spectacular coastal scenery and its fresh dairy produce and seafood. We have a full day here to visit the 800-year old Mont Orgueil Castle, and enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. Browse the independent boutiques in the delightful capital, St Helier, and meet some of the world’s most endangered animals at the Durrell Wildlife Park.
Day 13 - At sea
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea as we sail back across the English Channel.
Day 14 London Tilbury
After breakfast this morning, disembark Aegean Odyssey, where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
