Christmas in London

Day 1 London

VIP Home Departure Service Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Islington, a popular high-class borough of inner London. We aim for you to arrive at the hotel between 4pm and 5pm and you’ll be greeted with tea, coffee and mince pies. There’ll be time to relax before tonight’s welcome drink and festivities.

Day 2 Christmas Eve - Royal Albert Hall Carol Concert

XLN DAY 2.jpg After a leisurely start, we make our way to the beautiful Royal Albert Hall for a midday performance of Carols at Christmas. The Royal Choral Society and National Youth Choir of Great Britain join together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Her Majesty’s Coldstream Guards to perform traditional carols and favourite festive songs. The sound of the massed voices within the grandeur of Britain’s most famous concert hall is simply incredible. We follow this two-hour performance with lunch at the Royal Albert Hall. Then, as the light is starting to fade, we’ll drive through London to see the Christmas lights as we make our way back to the hotel.

Day 3 Christmas Day - London

XLN DAY 3.jpg Enjoy a relaxed day of celebrations, starting with a drinks reception before a traditional Christmas Day lunch. Christmas cake is served this afternoon during the Queen’s Speech.

Day 4 Boxing Day - Westminster Abbey - London Eye

XLN DAY 4.jpg This morning we’ll visit one of the world’s finest buildings, Westminster Abbey. You’ll have time to take in this magnificent Abbey, dressed for Christmas and learn some of its heritage. Figures from all walks of life feature, including kings and queens, soldiers, poets, priests, and heroes and villains. It has been the setting of 16 royal weddings and all English and British monarchs bar two, have been crowned here, since the coronation of William the Conqueror on Christmas Day in 1066. Over 3,000 notable people are buried at the Abbey too, including 17 British monarchs and Poets' Corner is the final resting place of countless writers including Chaucer, Dickens, Kipling and Lord Tennyson. We make our way across the Thames to the South Bank, where you can take your choice for lunch. Then this afternoon, we board the London Eye for a gentle 30-minute journey. From its peak at 135m, you’ll be able to see Parliament and Westminster Abbey not far away. We return to the hotel for tea, coffee and mince pies.
