Depending on seasonality, this morning, we either learn of an industry that played an integral part in the success of colonial settlements with a visit to a tobacco plantation, or we visit a ‘Bio Park’ instead, which is an ecological restoration project of the dry tropical forest and allows a spectacular 360° view of the region. This afternoon we take a tour of Barichara, visiting its decorated cemetery and its parks and squares saturated in colonial atmosphere. In the evening we have a special dinner, where you will learn how to cook a typical Colombian meal, guided by a professional chef.
