Day 1 - Liverpool
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Liverpool, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Boudicca (3T+) in preparation for an evening sailing.
Days 2-3 - At sea
Settle back aboard Boudicca as she sets off on her epic journey.
Day 4 - Leixoes (Porto), Portugal
Porto is one of Europe’s most enchanting cities, for its pastel-fronted houses, baroque churches and, of course, its world famous port houses. The likes of Taylor, Cockburn and Sandeman have produced the finest port, so beloved by the British, for hundreds of years from grapes grown on steep hillside terraces further along the sublime Douro Valley. Don’t miss the chance to sample some for yourself.
Day 5 - At sea
Boudicca heads out into the Atlantic, and there is more time to enjoy the amenities on board.
Day 6 - Funchal, Madeira
The ‘garden island’ of Madeira is our next stop, as acclaimed for its fabulous flora as its own eponymous wine. We dock in the charming capital, Funchal, where there are plenty of parks, gardens and waterfront cafes to appreciate, or head off on a tour exploring the rest of this subtropical Atlantic gem.
Day 7 - At sea
Relax as Boudicca continues her journey west.
Day 8 - Ponta Delgada, Azores
The nine volcanic islands of the Azores are scattered like emeralds across the deep velvety blue of the mid-Atlantic. Sao Miguel is our first stop, inviting you to discover the natural splendour of the island on a selection of tours, or make your own discoveries in its main town, Ponta Delgada.
Day 9 - Horta
Pretty Faial Island is our second Azores stop, and the tranquil little port town of Horta, the most popular stopping point during transatlantic yacht voyages.
Days 10-13 - At sea
An expanse of sea lies between the Azores and Bermuda - ease into the gentle rhythm of life on board as Boudicca covers the miles.
Day 14 - St George’s, Bermuda (overnight)
There is plenty to see in St George’s, a UNESCO listed town that was an important military base from 17th to 20th century, and has hardly changed over the last 100 years. Amble along Water Street, home to boutique shops and galleries; explore the World Heritage Centre; visit beautiful Somers Garden and historic King’s Square; and relax on Tobacco Bay Beach.
Days 15-17 - Hamilton, Bermuda (overnight)
An extended 2-night stay in breathtaking Bermuda presents opportunities not just to appreciate the idyllic beauty of the island and the charm of its capital, Hamilton, but also experience the thrill of the America’s Cup, the greatest of yacht races. This historic, exhilarating event tests the skills of the world’s best sailors, including Britain’s Olympic hero Sir Ben Ainslie, to the limit as they race their multi-million dollar catamarans at speeds up to 50mph.
Days 18-21 - At sea
Somewhat more sedately, Boudicca turns back east.
Day 22 - Lajes das Flores, Azores
The Azorean island of Flores is considered by many the most beautiful of the archipelago, and it has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for its ecological wonders. Take a short optional trip into a land of lush forests and crater lakes, soaring peaks and tumbling waterfalls, pretty gardens and volcanic hot springs. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 23 - Praia da Vitoria
Formerly the capital of the Azores, Praia da Vitoria is steeped in history. Walk its Old Quarter and impressive natural harbour overlooked by a 16th century fort, and relax on glorious sandy beaches.
Days 24-26 - At sea
Homeward bound, but a few more days to unwind aboard Boudicca.
Day 27 Liverpool
We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
