VIP Outbound1

UK - Verona

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your flight to Verona. On arrival we transfer to our hotel, just a few steps from Verona’s Opera Arena. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Grand Hotel des Arts, Verona (4T)

Have you ever wondered why the world’s most famous love story was set in Verona? A guided tour shows off the romance of this ancient city, including the balcony that Juliet supposedly stood on as she called down to Romeo.
At the city’s centre is a remarkably well-preserved 1st-century amphitheatre. This evening, we’ll take our seats in this Roman arena and experience an unforgettable opera performance under the stars (seating is on chairs, 2nd sector stalls).

Today is at leisure to explore more of Verona. Alternatively, join an optional excursion to nearby Lake Garda, which includes a visit to pretty Sirmione, famous for its indulgent gelato, and a ferry ride to Bardolino for a wine tasting with local cheese and salami.

Day 4 - Venice

We head to Venice, taking a private boat to St Mark’s Square. We’ll enjoy a guided tour along La Serenissima’s palazzo-lined canals, and take a seat at one of the square’s famous cafés for coffee, cake and live music.
Afterwards, we transfer to the port to embark our ship, with time to settle in before we set sail early this evening. You won’t want to miss the views as we sail between the beautiful islands of Venice, filled to the water’s edge with grand buildings.

Seven Seas Voyager® (5T)

Split, Croatia

Day 5 - Split, Croatia

Split achieved fame when Roman emperor Diocletian commissioned his retirement palace to be built here. The spectacular stone structure is still a major part of city life. You can meander through the ancient stone walls, and come across other points of interest like the cellars, the Cathedral of St Duje and the Mestrovic Gallery, where you can see the works of Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic.

Seven Seas Voyager® (5T)

Kotor, Montenegro

Day 6 - Kotor, Montenegro

The UNESCO-listed old port of Kotor is well preserved within an impressive city wall, which is a lovely highpoint to start your sightseeing from. Other attractions include the Catholic Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, consecrated in 1166.

Seven Seas Voyager® (5T)

Tirana (Durrës), Albania

Day 7 - Tirana (Durrës), Albania

For an overview of ancient Durrës, visit the Archaeological Museum on the waterfront before exploring the remains of the public baths and the aqueduct. Durrës also has the largest Roman amphitheatre in the Balkans, although dating back to the 7th century it’s now a little weathered. A bit further east, the hilltop Royal Villa offers splendid views.
If you’d rather stay down on the coastline, seaside cafés selling fresh figs and olive snacks make a good excuse for a break on a waterfront stroll. Browse the palm tree-lined shopping district for handcrafted wooden boxes and local Skenderbeu brandy.

Seven Seas Voyager® (5T)

Corfu, Greece

Day 8 - Corfu, Greece

Corfu is a lush and romantic island with a battle-filled history. The island offers a combination of cosmopolitan and time-honoured Greece, with nods to Homer’s ‘Odyssey’. As well as flower-strewn countryside and Adriatic-style villages, Corfu has splendid coastal scenery and some excellent secluded beaches.

Seven Seas Voyager® (5T)

Taormina (Sicily), Italy

Day 9 - Taormina (Sicily), Italy

From the port city of Naxos, it’s a short transfer to Taormina. In the early 20th century, Taormina became a colony for expat artists and writers inspired by its sun-bleached, hilltop location overlooking Mount Etna.
Highlights of the town include the Greek Theatre, whose acoustics are still appreciated in performances today; the splendid 15th century Palazzo Corvaia; and the Odeon, a small Imperial Age theatre in colourful public gardens. Ship to shore tender service.

Seven Seas Voyager® (5T)

Sorrento (Capri)

Day 10 - Sorrento (Capri)

Sorrento is one of the world’s most beautiful towns, with breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples and hills leading to Mount Vesuvius. Good looks aside, the entire region is filled with history and culture that can be traced back to the 11th century BC. Explore the town or choose to take a boat to nearby Capri. Ship to shore tender service.
