Day 5 - Málaga, Spain
An early morning arrival in the city of Málaga - one that offers endless stretches of golden sand beaches and mouth-watering restaurants serving traditional tapas. Dig a little deeper and a wealth of cultural, historical, artistic and architectural treasures reveal themselves, such as Catedral de Málaga and the Picasso Museum, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
Day 6 - Cruising Guadalquivir River - Seville (overnight)
Enjoy the enchanting Guadalquivir, one of Spain’s longest rivers. Cruise along its winding course, through some of Europe’s richest, most fertile plains offering some fantastic natural scenery. This afternoon we will glide straight to the heart of Seville for an overnight stop.
Day 7 - Seville
Seville is a glorious mix of grand boulevards, narrow streets, cobbled alleys and pretty squares. The city’s famous cathedral is the biggest Gothic building in the world and third-largest church in Europe and is where the tomb of Christopher Columbus and some quite wonderful works of art are found. We sail early evening.
Day 8 - Cádiz
Arrive in Cádiz, a province that has some of Andalucia's most windswept beaches, prettiest white villages and most celebrated sherry. It also boasts one of the region's most visited protected areas and the rainiest place in Spain: the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park.
Day 9 - Lisbon, Portugal
Lisbon offers a superb mix of attractions, including palaces, churches, art nouveau cafés, gardens, ancient castles and an array of impressive bridges. Museums are in abundance as well as a shopper’s paradise at the Centro Commercial Colombo - the biggest shopping centre on the Iberian Peninsula.
Day 10-11 - At sea
