2 nights in hotel, 7 nights tall ship cruise on Royal Clipper (accommodation as specified or similar)
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Nice. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel the Radisson Blu Hotel (4T), where dinner is included this evening.
Day 2 Nice
Nice has long been a favourite for British travellers and expatriates, evidenced in the name of its beautiful seafront Promenade des Anglais. Take a walk in their footsteps on a guided tour this morning and discover the cultural and architectural treasures of one of France’s most alluring cities. The afternoon is then at leisure to explore further or return to your hotel and simply settle beside the pool for some well-deserved relaxation.
Day 3 - Nice - Cannes
Following a leisurely morning soaking up the Riviera sunshine, we transfer to Cannes, home to the world-famous film festival, and embark Royal Clipper (4T). This majestic vessel sets sail later in the evening.
Day 4 - Portofino, Italy
Portofino is a fishing village on the Italian Riveria coastline. Its pastel-coloured houses, luxury boutiques and seafood restaurants surround its Piazzetta, a small cobbled square overlooking the harbour. A short walk takes you up to the Church of St George, situated on the dramatic narrow neck of the Portofino headland. This spot has been significant for thousands of years as a lookout point as well as a site of religious significance.
Day 5 - L’Ile Rouse, Corsica, France
Napoleon said that he could recognise his native island blindfolded because of the wonderful perfume of the maquis. Approaching by sea, it is the first thing you experience about Corsica. The second is its wild and mountainous landscape. There are two distinct experiences to savour today: St Florent, its harbour crowded with yachts from the world's prestigious yacht clubs, yet its streets haven’t lost their old charm; or an excursion to the peninsula of Cap Corse, transports you to a picturesque ridge of mountains.
Day 6 - Calvi, Corsica
A second day to enjoy Corsica, docking in the popular resort of Calvi where a crescent bay exudes the essence of French sophistication. Watch the people and the yachts drift by from the seat of an upmarket café, or secluded beaches and the eerie Grottes des Veaux Marins offer fantastic diving opportunities.
Day 7 - Plage d’Arone, Corsica
Plage d’Arone is one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. Surrounded by pink rocks and rich scrub this soft golden sandy beach stretches for 750 metres. There are plenty of amenities and the water is crystal clear, calm and warm, but the main attraction of the beach is that it is never crowded.
Day 8 - Porquerolles, Iles d’Hyeres - Sanary-sur-Mer
Porquerolles is a small crescent shaped island just a 10-minute boat ride from mainland France, and popular with cyclists. The southern side the coast is made up of steep cliffs and secluded creeks and on the northern side you will find fine sand beaches and clear turquoise waters. We spend the afternoon on the mainland, in Sanary-sur-Mer, once the home of deep sea diving pioneer - Jacques Cousteau.
Day 9 - Saint-Tropez
It is said that the most spectacular way to approach the exquisite harbour of Saint-Tropez is by sea. The great, the rich and the influential have holidayed in Saint-Tropez for over a century. It is a people-watcher's paradise, whether you are enjoying the famous beaches, expensive bistros and bars or designer boutiques.
Day 10 Cannes - Nice - London
We bid farewell to Royal Clipper in Cannes this morning and transfer to Nice Airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
