Day 1 - Dover

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Dover, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Boudicca (3T+) in readiness for a late night sailing.

Day 2 - Kiel Canal Transit

Running for almost 100 km right through Schleswig-Holstein - from Brunsbuttel to Kiel-Holtenau, the Kiel Canal links the North Sea with the Baltic. Today the Kiel Canal is the basis for the trade between the countries of the Baltic area and the rest of the world. This afternoon we begin sailing down this waterway.

Day 3 - Travemünde, Germany

We continue our journey to the very edge of the Baltic Sea, arriving in Travemünde around mid-day. Spend the afternoon exploring this fascinating seaside town located at the mouth of the glistening river Trave. Enjoy the beautiful beach from a roofed wicker beach chair and visit the lighthouse, the oldest on the German Baltic coast, or take this opportunity to visit magnificent UNESCO-listed Lübeck, a former capital of the Hanseatic League, with wonderful gabled houses and gilded steeples. Embark the ship late afternoon for an evening sailing towards Denmark.

Day 4 - Rønne, Bornholm, Denmark

Arrive in Rønne, the largest town found in Denmark’s rocky island of Bornholm, renowned for its natural harbour and interesting history having been under both German and Swedish rule. The beautiful harbour paves the way to the charming town’s famed round churches, pretty half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets.

Day 5 - At sea

A relaxing day at sea.

Days 6-7 - St Petersburg, Russia (overnight)

This morning we arrive in St Petersburg, the jewel in the Baltic crown. There will be a choice of shore excursions available to help you to experience all that this magnificent city has to offer. As well as informative city tours embracing the highlights, including the Peter and Paul Fortress, St Isaac’s Cathedral, the cruiser Aurora and the Nevsky Prospekt, there will be excursions to Peterhof, the splendid summer residence of the Tsars, to the glorious Catherine Palace at Pushkin and to the prestigious Hermitage Museum, with its remarkable art collection. It may also be possible to attend an evening at the ballet for which Russia is highly acclaimed, or a concert at the Hermitage. Late afternoon sailing on day 7.

Day 8 - Tallinn, Estonia

One of Europe's most magical capitals is Tallinn. Toompea Hill, with its medieval houses and impressive Gothic Town Hall, is the oldest part and substantial remains of the city wall can still be seen at the foot of the hill, surrounded by well-maintained parks. The wall is adorned with many fairytale turrets, each with its own intriguing name such as Golden Leg Tower, Behind the Nunnery Tower and Fat Margaret. The ornate Alexander Nevskij Cathedral and Kadriorg’s Palace were built when Estonia was part of Tsarist Russia.

Day 9 - Cruising Stockholm Archipelago - Stockholm, Sweden (overnight)

Cruise along the idyllic Stockholm Archipelago this afternoon to Stockholm, where we remain overnight. Take this opportunity to enjoy your first taste of Sweden’s cultural capital. Ship to shore tender service.

Day 10 - Stockholm

Wake up in the elegant harbour of Stockholm, where 57 bridges link the 14 islands that shoulder this brilliantly unique city. Roam the captivating streets to visit numerous trendy restaurants, fascinating museums and remarkable buildings and palaces. Founded over 700 years ago, this Swedish delight retains a number of buildings from throughout its long history, particularly in the Old Town district of Gamla Stan. We depart late this afternoon, to make our way back through the maze of islands. Ship to shore tender service.

Day 11 - Visby

We have a day to see Visby, the ‘city of roses and ruins’. Within its 13th century enclosed walls it has preserved much of its medieval atmosphere which earned its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Of its original 17 churches, only 10 survive as ruins and only one (St Mary's) is still used for worship.

Day 12 - At sea - Kiel Canal Transit

Relax on board for two days and join in with onboard activities or simply admire the scenery.

Early this morning we arrive back in Dover, where we disembark after breakfast. You will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
