Day 1 - Southampton
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Southampton, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Braemar (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing.
Days 2-3 - At sea
Our voyage begins with two full days on board, giving you time to relax, settle in and familiarise yourself with the extensive onboard facilities.
Day 4 - Lisbon, Portugal
Today you are free to explore Lisbon, the beautiful town spread out over seven hills on the north of the River Tagus. There are plenty of wonderful sights to see including museums, historic castles, picturesque palaces and gardens. You can also take the opportunity to visit the largest shopping centre on the Iberian Peninsula, Centro Commercial Colombo, or get a taste for local life in Lisbon by visiting the flea market at Campo de Santa Clara.
Day 5 - At sea
Day 6 - Almeria, Spain
Almeria is a beautiful city with a fascinating history as it was once a port of the Islamic Cordoba Caliphate. Visit the impressive 16th century renaissance cathedral or the ancient Arab fortress of Alcazaba, from where you can capture picturesque views of the port and city centre. The town is also home to several museums, housing historic artefacts from interesting prehistoric Roman, Greek and Iberic times. We sail late evening.
Day 7 - Málaga
The wonderful city of Málaga - famously known for being the birthplace of Picasso - is one of Spain’s true charms. Be at the heart of Moorish art by visiting the Alcazaba Fortress in Granada. You can also travel to Granada, to view the historic 14th century Alhambra Palace and its exotic, enchanting gardens. Take in more of the city’s culture by venturing to a wine cellar to try some famous local drinks, or if you want to soak up some sun, head to the delightful beach to relax. This evening we set sail towards Gibraltar.
Day 8 - Gibraltar, UK
This morning you arrive in Gibraltar, guarded by the picturesque Rock that towers 1,396 feet above the sea. It has been a British-controlled territory for nearly 300 years making it a home from home for British visitors with a delightful climate to enjoy too.
Day 9 - Cruising Guadalquivir River - Seville (overnight)
Scenic and memorable, the Guadalquivir River is a wonderful, windy journey that offers delightful natural scenery. While cruising one of Spain’s longest rivers you’ll view the Doñana National Park and fishing town of Bonanza before arriving into Seville.
Day 10 - Seville
Narrow streets, cobbled alleys, and alluring squares are some of the exquisite charms of Seville to enjoy upon your arrival early this morning. There’s plenty to see in this glorious town including the 100m Giralda clock tower, Gothic cathedral - the third largest church in Europe - and the beautiful royal palace, Alcázares Reales. Late evening, we cruise back along the Guadalquivir River.
Day 11 - Cadiz
Arrive this morning at one of the most ancient cities in Western Europe, Cadiz. Explore the intriguing Old Town district where stone walls from the 1500s still stand today, along with visiting the fascinatingly carved cathedral. The charming city is characterised by palm trees, beautiful parks and lanes. Whilst here, we meet the rest of the Fred. Olsen fleet to celebrate the cruiseline’s 170th anniversary, with festivities on board and on the quayside with the captains and crew.
Days 12-14 - At sea
More time to relax on board as we sail home.
Day 15 Southampton
Early morning arrival back in Southampton, where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
