Day 1 - Southampton

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Southampton, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Braemar (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing.

Day 2 - 3 - At sea

Two days at sea provides the perfect time to gently ease into life on board, as we sail towards Portugal.

Day 4 - Lisbon

Scattered over seven beautiful hills on the River Tagus, is the Portuguese city of Lisbon - a wonderful collection of pretty palaces, art-nouveau cafes, elegant bridges and ancient castles. Visit the excellent array of museums including the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Carmo Archaeological Museum and the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, exhibiting collections of both modern and ancient art. The city is also home to the biggest shopping mall of the Iberian peninsula, Centro Commercial Colombo; and the grand Avenidas Novas, filled with elegant stores selling upmarket goods.

Day 5 - Portimão

This morning we dock in the beautiful resort of Portimão, residing along the Atlantic shores of Portugal. Discover the town - the centre of the Algarve’s sardine fishing and canning industry - filled with picturesque streets boasting 19th and 20th century architecture, and delightful fine restaurants serving mouthwatering local cuisine. Visit Portimão’s vibrant waterfront area, Praia da Rocha, heading to the golden sanded beach to soak up the sun and admire views of the beautiful rocky cliffs and glistening warm waters.

Day 6 - Seville, Spain (overnight)

Clinging to the Guadalquivir River is the remarkable city of Seville, with elegant boulevards, cobblestone alleys, charming squares and grand architecture. Many buildings here reflect the city’s Moorish era, which continued until 1248 AD, such as the beautiful UNESCO-listed Giralda clock tower, a symbolic structure of the city which soars to 100m in height. Other impressive architecture of historical importance includes the city’s cathedral - not only the third-largest church to exist in Europe but also the world’s largest Gothic structure and the place where Christopher Columbus’ tomb lies; and the royal palace of Alcázares Reale, hosting Moorish, Renaissance and Mudéjar architectural styles. The city’s wonderful public park of Parque de Maria Luisa features lush green landscapes and makes a delightful visit, along with the interesting Royal Tobacco Factory.

Day 7 - Seville - Cruising Guadalquivir River.

Early morning we depart from Seville to cruise along the beautiful Guadalquivir River, Spain’s longest river passing areas of sandy beaches, vibrant cities, pretty fishing towns and beautiful flora.

Day 8 - Málaga

The birthplace of Picasso, Málaga, has long attracted visitors with its cosmopolitan charm, located on the glorious Spanish coastline. It is home to spectacular Moorish buildings such as the grand Alhambra Palace, a fortress and a place of cultural and historical significance dating back to the 14th century. Visit Gibralfaro Castle to capture breathtaking panoramic views over the city, or be mesmerised by the striking Alcazaba fortress, a magnificent 14th century structure considered to be ‘Spain’s finest expression of Moorish art’. Málaga is also a wonderful place to soak up the sun on a golden sanded beach, as well as tucking into some delicious Spanish tapas found at many of the region’s authentic local restaurants.

Day 9 - Ceuta, Spanish Morocco

Arrive in the beautiful Spanish city-enclave located in North Africa, Ceuta. Ceuta is a unique place to discover due to its mix of Christian and Islamic influence, which can be seen through monuments, churches, mosques and cuisine. Admire the Monte Hacho - a mountain dominating the scenery - and the remains of the grand city walls.

Day 10 - At sea

Spend a day soaking up the sun aboard Braemar.

Day 11 - Vigo, Spain

Culture enthusiasts will feel right at home in Vigo, the Galician gem bursting with history, culture and stunning Atlantic coastline. Step off into one of the finest natural ports of world, to discover the historic quarter bursting with Neoclassical architecture - such as the famous Collegiate Church of Santa Maria constructed on the site of an impressive gothic church which was burnt to the ground by Sir Francis Drake - picturesque streets featuring delightful old fishing houses, and vibrant traditional markets trading locally-caught seafood. Alternatively, visit the vibrant modern marina or relaxing atmosphere of the beach.

Day 12 - 13 - At sea

Our final days are spent relaxing on board as Braemar voyages back to Southampton.

We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
