London - Venice Simplon-Orient-Express
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for a journey to London Victoria station to board the Belmond British Pullman. After crossing the Channel by ferry or Eurotunnel, you’ll step on board the gleaming vintage carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express (5T) for the overnight journey to Italy. You’ll be looked after from start to finish, with attentive service from your personal host, who will offer champagne and snacks. This evening a four-course dinner is served on board.

Venice Simplon-Orient-Express - Venice
Awake to beautiful scenery this morning as a leisurely breakfast is served in your cabin. A three-course lunch will be served in one of the luxury restaurant cars and tea and pastries will be served in your cabin. Your journey of decadence ends crossing the Venetian lagoon. After the train pulls in to Santa Lucia station, we navigate the canals by a private water taxi into Venice itself and the Bauer Palazzo Hotel (4T+), where dedicated porters will have transported your luggage from the train station.
A walking tour of Venice takes us to many of the main sights, including the magnificent 11th century St Mark’s Basilica and the elaborately covered Bridge of Sighs, which connects the Old Prison with the intricately detailed Doge's Palace. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy this beautiful city and your included Venice card allows you unlimited travel on many transport services.
Day 4 - Venice
A morning at leisure before embarking the luxurious Seven Seas Voyager® (5T). Our cruise begins late this evening.
Day 5 - Ravenna
Discover Ravenna with its brilliantly preserved Byzantine basilicas and baptisteries, marvellous Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, and museums filled with mosaics from the 5th century. Explore the Church of San Vitale, the Baptisteries Neonian and Appolionaire, and Dante’s tomb. Then rest on a beautiful beach or in a café to enjoy the local piadina bread stuffed with cheese, ham and radicchio.
Day 6 - Split, Croatia
Roman emperor Diocletian had his retirement palace built in Split. The spectacular stone edifice and its grounds and cellars still play a major part in the heart of the city. Other points of interest include the Cathedral of St Duje, built on the remains of an ancient shrine purported to be the oldest in the world; and the Mestrovic Gallery, where the impressive works of Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic are displayed.
Day 7 - Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik was founded in the 7th century by a group of refugees from Epidaurum (today’s Cavtat). It is now known worldwide for its beautifully restored red-roofed houses, steep cobbled streets and fountains, encased within mighty city walls which are reinforced by several imposing towers.
Day 8 - Kotor, Montenegro
The impressive city wall around the old port of Kotor was built by the medieval Serbian ruling House of Nemanjic. Within it, attractions include the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. You also have opportunities to see the beautiful mountainous countryside and Bay of Kotor, a dramatic portal to the Adriatic. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 9 - Corfu, Greece
Corfu is a lush and romantic island, mentioned by Homer in The Odyssey. The island’s history is full of battles, indicative of Corfu’s turbulent position that lasted until unification with modern Greece in 1864. Corfu has beautiful palaces, a flower-strewn countryside and splendid coastal scenery.
Day 10 - Naxos (Taormina), Sicily - Cruising the Strait of Messina
We dock in Naxos, gateway to Taormina, a town that became a colony for expatriate artists and writers, including DH Lawrence, who enjoyed its position 820ft above the sea with views of imposing Mount Etna. Highlights of this city include the remarkably preserved Roman-style Greek theatre, whose acoustics are still appreciated in performances today; the splendid 15th century Palazzo Corvaia; and the Odeon, a small Imperial Age theatre set amidst colourful public gardens. Day 11 - Sorrento (Capri), Italy
Beautiful Sorrento overlooks the gorgeous bay of Naples and is within sight of Mount Vesuvius. The entire region is filled with a history and culture that can be traced back to the 11th century BC. You may want to consider a day trip to Capri, celebrated for its outstanding natural beauty. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 12 Rome - UK
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
