Scenic Views of Norway's Iconic Fjords

By diverting away from well-travelled coastal routes, into spectacular, size-restricted waterways, smaller ship Braemar takes you on an inspirational journey to some of fjordland’s most spellbinding scenes. Idyllic Flåm awaits, where you can choose to ride the iconic Flåmsbana Railway and see the cascading Kjosfossen Waterfall up-close; and Eidfjord, gateway to the famous Vøringsfossen waterfall and fascinating Hardangervidda Nature Centre.

Day 1 - Southampton
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Southampton. Embark our ship in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.
Days 2-3 - At sea
As we sail Norway, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.
Day 4 - Flåm, Norway
Pretty Flåm is a tiny village on the banks of the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the spectacular Sognefjord - the longest and deepest fjord in Europe. The Flåmsbana Railway climbs over 20km as it passes through the magnificent mountain scenery, the journey takes in incredible sights such as the striking Kjosfossen Waterfall, crashing 225 metres down rugged cliffs. Flåm is also perfectly situated for boat tours to UNESCO-listed Naeroyfjord, one of National Geographic's top natural heritage sites. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 5 - Bergen
Seven hills and seven fjords frame Hanseatic Bergen, a city steeped in maritime heritage. Of the city’s many attractions, the 900-year-old UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf is a standout highlight. A delight to explore, its cobbled stairways are lined with traditional half-timbered buildings climbing away from the waterfront, leading to curious open spaces often overflowing with colourful flowers. Also not to be missed is a chance to ride the Funicular Railway to the top of Mount Fløyen, offering spectacular panoramic views of Bergen and its scenic surroundings.
Day 6 - Eidfjord
The picturesque village of Eidfjord, set within breathtaking Hardangerfjord, is a gateway to some of the region's most spectacular natural features and possibly the most beautiful place in the Norwegian fjords. Located beneath a back-drop of soaring, snow-peaked mountains, engraved with rivers and waterfalls, Eidfjord begs for exploration and presents great photo opportunities. Hiking is very popular in the area; alternatively, visitors can head for the amazing Hardangervidda Nature Centre or Voringfossen Waterfall, a tumbling natural beauty set deep in the mountains of Måbødalen Valley.
Day 7 - Stavanger
Behind the bustle of the prosperous and cosmopolitan Stavanger of today lie 1,000 years of ancient seafaring tradition and history. The city’s wealth and thriving oil industry has prompted its tag as Norway’s ‘Oil Capital’, but Stavanger has remained as charming as ever. The old town, Gamle Stavanger, has narrow winding streets and ancient wooden houses gathered round a historic fresh fish and vegetable market. Stavanger is also perfectly placed for the breathtaking Lysefjord, one of the most famous Norwegian Fjords. This stunning waterway is home to the Kjerag Mountain and Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock) - two of the country’s most popular attractions.
Day 8 - At sea
A day at sea, and you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.
Day 9 Southampton
We arrive back early this morning and your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
