Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.

Day 3 Crossing the Arctic Circle, Norway

Crossing the Arctic Circle, Norway | Titan Travel Crossing the Arctic Circle takes you into lands of prolonged days and Midnight Sun.

Day 4 Leknes - Cruising Austnesfjorden and Trollfjord

Leknes - Cruising Austnesfjorden and Trollfjord | Titan Travel Leknes, one of the first ports inside the Arctic Circle, looks out over the stunning Lofoten Islands, rich in Viking history and Arctic nature. The nearby village of Borg is home to a Viking museum, based on one of the largest buildings of the Viking era that has ever been discovered. The museum is very much alive: partly lit by oil lamps, it has exhibits of gold fertility figures, pottery, and glassware and regular displays of handicrafts. We’ll then embark on some late night cruising through Austnesfjorden and Trollfjord.

Day 5 Tromsø

Tromsø | Titan Travel The island city of Tromsø is one of northern Norway’s true delights. Rich with neo-classical architecture, the city known as the ‘Gateway to the Arctic’ contains the largest number of wooden houses in northern Norway, and its old-world charm makes it a joy to explore. The city’s most recognisable landmark is the must-visit Arctic Cathedral. Built in 1965, its distinctive iceberg-shaped design was inspired by the landscapes of northern Norway and features a beautiful glass mosaic. Tromsø, and the stunning landscapes that surround it, are best viewed from the top of the Storsteinen Mountain, which stands 420 metres above sea level. Accessible via cable car, the peak is easy to reach and one of the most popular spots on the edge of the city.

Day 6 Bodø - Cruising by Black Glacier and Nordfjorden

Bodø - Cruising by Black Glacier and Nordfjorden | Titan Travel The charming town of Bodø is the northernmost point on the stunning Kystriksveien Coastal Route and is ideal for year-round bird spotting as it boasts the world’s densest population of sea eagles. The majestic stained-glass windows and delicate tapestries within Bodø Cathedral make for a particularly worthwhile trip. Bodø’s historic past can be uncovered by visiting one of the town’s museums, and the Aviation Museum offers a glimpse into Norway’s aviation history. Exhibits include famous aircraft such as the Supermarine Spitfire, Tiger Moth and F-86 Sabre. Later, we cruise by the famous Svartisen or ‘Black Glacier’ - spread out over an impressive 375 square kilometres, and Nordfjorden - a glorious, simply breathtaking fjord in the heart of Norway’s Meloy Municipality.

Day 7 Cruising Seven Sisters Mountain Range, Torghatten and Rørvik

Cruising Seven Sisters Mountain Range, Torghatten and Rørvik The Seven Sisters mountain range is an awe-inspiring backdrop to the hundreds of islands and Norwegian landscapes. Later, we pass by the shores of Toget Island and the astonishing Torghatten Mountain, famous for the huge tunnel that strikes right through the middle of it. We’ll also cruise by the picturesque island village of Rørvik.

Day 8 Cruising Romsdalfjorden and Isfjorden - Åndalsnes

Cruising Romsdalfjorden and Isfjorden - Åndalsnes One of the longest - and cleanest - Norwegian fjords, Romsdalsfjorden is fjordland at its very best. Framed by the majestic peaks and waterfalls of the Romsdalsalpene Mountains, which tower over rolling, lush green valleys and charming waterside villages, the fjord boasts spectacular scenery to admire as your smaller-sized ship slices through the glassy waters and cool, crisp air. Åndalsnes is often referred to as the ‘Alp town by the fjord’. Situated at the mouth of the Rauma River, the town is in one of the most beautiful areas of scenic Norway, and a natural starting point for forest walks in the hilly terrain and short hikes to magnificent viewpoints.

Day 9 At sea

At sea A day at sea, and you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.
