Day 1 - Newcastle
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Newcastle. Embark our ship in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.
Day 2 - At sea
As we sail towards Norway, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.
Day 3 - Ålesund, Norway
This morning we arrive in Ålesund. Following a fire in 1904, the town was rebuilt within three years and is now referred to as one of Europe’s true visual experiences. Why not visit Mount Aksla for panoramic views of the architecture, surrounding fjords and archipelago. Or take a stroll through the town’s pedestrianised streets, giving you the chance to easily explore the lively cafes, shops and galleries.
Day 4 - At sea
Keep your brain active with the morning quiz, then why not perfect your dance moves in the afternoon with a beginners’ class. After dinner, you could continue the dancing theme and join the hosted dancing, or choose to watch the professionals instead.
Day 5 - Tromsø
Tromsø is our second port of call, one of northern Norway’s true treasures and rich with neo-classical architecture. Known as the ‘Gateway to the Arctic’, it is renowned for good chances to spot the bright ethereal Northern Lights that often light up the night sky. The 1965 Arctic Cathedral is a highlight of the city and a must-see - its extraordinary peaked roof and soaring stained-glass windows dominate the skyline.
Day 6 - Bodø
The charming town of Bodø is the northernmost point on the stunning Kystriksveien Coastal Route and is home to the world’s strongest whirlpool, Saltstraumen. This beautiful spot is our last stop before heading home. With the world’s densest population of sea eagles, it is ideal for year-round bird spotting. Take the opportunity to enjoy shopping in the bustling town centre or stroll along Bodø’s chalk-white beach. Or visit the Aviation Museum for a glimpse into Norway’s aviation history, with famous aircraft such as the Supermarine Spitfire, Tiger Moth and F-86 Sabre.
Days 7-8 - At sea
As we sail home you may want to rest after all your sightseeing. If you’re still full of energy, there‘s lots to fill your time - from quizzes, games and music recitals to walks on deck and dance classes. And of course there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy all the tasty food options.
Day 9 Newcastle
We arrive back early this morning and your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
