Cruise the Fjords of Norway
Day 1 Dover
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Dover. Embark Boudicca (3.5-star) in preparation for a late evening sailing.
Day 2 At sea
As we head towards Norway, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.
Day 3 Cruising Lysefjord, Norway
Experience an unforgettable scenic cruise along the glassy waters of Lysefjord. This fjord was carved into the magnificent mountain landscape by glacier movement in the Ice Age, approximately 10,000 years ago. The dramatic cliff faces - some soaring over 1,000 metres high into the unpolluted skies - also dive deep into the fjord, with the water reaching up to 422 metres deep. Look out for tumbling waterfalls, wonderful wildlife and pretty settlements dotted along the shores as we cruise. On a clear day it is possible to see Preikestolen (The Pulpit Rock), a huge 604-metre-high flat mountain plateau, and Kjeragbolten a large rock wedged in one of Mount Kjerag’s crevices.
Day 4 Flåm - Cruising Nærøyfjord
We arrive in Flåm, a tiny village on the banks of the Aurlandsfjord. Stretch your legs along the waterside, passing orchards and farmland, cottages and hamlets. Or take a seat on Flåm’s incredible railway. It twists between the mountains past incredible sights such as the striking Kjosfossen Waterfall, crashing 225 metres down rugged cliffs. Flåm is also ideally located to explore UNESCO-listed Naeroyfjord, one of National Geographic's top natural heritage sites. We experience this beautiful fjord from the water as we sail later this afternoon. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 5 Rosendal - Cruising Maurangerfjord
Tucked away between majestic mountains and rolling valleys in the heart of Hardangerfjord is the pretty village of Rosendal. You can reach most of the attractions on foot, including the 13th century Kvinnherad Church and the fascinating Shipbuilding Museum, down by the harbour. Maybe visit a museum of tapestries, literature and porcelain in a small hilltop castle with an enchanting Renaissance rose garden. Or take an excursion into the incredible natural scenery of Folgefonna National Park - a wonderland of ice-sculpted landscapes and glaciers. You’ll want to take plenty of photos of Folgefonna, Norway’s third-largest glacier. More photo opportunities appear as we cruise along Maurangerfjord. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 6 Stavanger
Behind the bustle of the prosperous and cosmopolitan Stavanger of today lie 1,000 years of seafaring tradition and history. This vibrant Norwegian city has tonnes of charm and culture to offer. Stavanger is perfectly placed to return to the breathtaking Lysefjord, for another opportunity to see the Kjerag Mountain, and Preikestolen.
Day 7 At sea
Keep your brain active with the morning quiz, then perfect your dance moves in the afternoon with a beginners’ class. After dinner, you could continue the dancing theme and join the hosted dancing, or choose to watch the professionals instead.
Day 8 Dover
Early this morning we arrive back in Dover, where your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
