  • At sea

    Day 2 - 4 - At sea

As we sail towards Reykjavik, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.

    Boudicca (3.5-star)

  • Reykjavik, Iceland (overnight)

    Day 5 - 6 - Reykjavik, Iceland (overnight)

Spend two days exploring Iceland’s capital and its extraordinary environment. Dip into the naturally hot pools at the Blue Lagoon or admire the power of nature at Gullfoss Waterfall, and the incredible Geysir hot springs, all within a short distance of the city. Visit the Althing - the world’s oldest parliament, the outstanding Art Museum, and the National and Saga Museums, which trace Iceland’s Viking history.

    Boudicca (3.5-star)

  • Ísafjördur

    Day 7 - Ísafjördur

Savour the finest locally caught seafood in Ísafjördur’s family-run restaurants. Take in the town’s history at Westfjords Heritage Museum and the Old Hospital. Or take a short boat trip to Paradise Island, home to thousands of puffins, arctic terns, eider ducks, black guillemots and more.

    Boudicca (3.5-star)

  • Akureyri - Cruising by Eyjafjörður and Hrísey

Day 8 - Akureyri - Cruising by Eyjafjörður and Hrísey

Akureyri is set amidst spectacular landscapes sheltering diverse wildlife. To experience natural wonders, jump on an excursion to Lake Myvatn. In the town, there are many museums, galleries and exhibitions, showcasing the diverse culture of Akureyri and Iceland as a whole.
Look out for whales and birds as we cruise through Eyjafjörður, the longest fjord in Iceland at the edge of the Arctic Circle. Pretty Hrísey Island is known as the ‘Pearl of the Eyjafjörður’. It’s Iceland’s second largest island, yet only around 200 people live here in one tiny fishing village.

    Boudicca (3.5-star)

  • Akureyri - Cruising by Eyjafjörður and Hrísey

    Day 9 - Seydisfjördur

Seydisfjördur is a remote, picturesque town with a flourishing art scene. Dozens of thundering waterfalls, pretty lakes and rugged mountains form a beautiful scene to hike through.

    Boudicca (3.5-star)

  • At sea

    Day 10 - At sea

Spend the day on board. Maybe read a book and relax or choose to listen to a fascinating talk by a guest speaker. Enjoy lunchtime melodies or a piano recital, and then walk a mile with the cruise fitness instructor.

    Boudicca (3.5-star)

  • Kirkwall, Orkney Islands

Day 11 - Kirkwall, Orkney Islands

The capital of the Orkney Islands feels more Scandinavian than Scottish. Kirkwall echoes Christian, Nordic and Celtic history. Twisting lanes lead to ruined 12th-century palaces. The Orkney Wireless Museum, dedicated to the history of radio, and Tankerness House, are worth visiting.
