Set sail to explore the wonderful destinations on the beautiful River Seine. Cruise overnight from Southampton to France, where Braemar docks for two nights in Normandy’s 2,000-year-old museum city of Rouen. With plenty of time you can explore the historic delights of the city including the medieval Old Town, the Gothic Cathedral - inspiration for Monet to paint over 30 glorious canvasses - and the botanical gardens, home to 600 stunning plant species. We continue to France’s most visited city, Honfleur, a destination that has inspired many a painter and poet. Here there’s plenty of time to discover the rich cultural and artistic heritage, picturesque harbour and many magnificent monuments.

Day 1 - Southampton
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Southampton where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Braemar (3T+) in readiness for a late evening sailing.
Day 2 - Cruising the River Seine - Rouen (overnight)
This morning we cruise along the River Seine - the second-longest waterway in France - past lush-green countryside to Rouen. On arrival in Normandy’s picturesque ‘museum city’, enriched with magnificent monuments and stunning architecture, we dock for two nights, and the afternoon is free to explore.
Day 3 - Rouen (overnight)
We have a full day to explore treasured Rouen, a 2,000-year old city and port on the River Seine. Discover the superb collection of monuments and museums including the grand Gothic Cathedral which inspired Monet to paint over 30 beautiful canvasses. The soaring spire dominates the skyline of the incredibly-preserved medieval Old Town. You may also see the Church of Saint-Maclou and the Church of St Ouen, both considered to be outstanding examples of Flamboyant-style Gothic architecture. The city’s Botanical Garden - Jardin de Plantes de Rouen - is home to 600 plant species flourishing in three different gardens: the rock garden, rose garden and medicinal plant garden.
Day 4 - Rouen - Cruising the River Seine - Honfleur (overnight)
This morning we depart from Rouen and sail further along the beautiful River Seine. Late this afternoon we arrive in Honfleur, one of the most visited towns in France and a city that has long attracted and inspired painters and poets with its mesmerising charm. We stay overnight providing plenty of time to explore at leisure.
Day 5 - Honfleur
A full day to explore the delights of Honfleur. Honfleur’s picturesque attraction is the Vieux Basin (old dock) which presents the town’s rich cultural and artistic heritage with a beautiful fishing harbour, cobblestone streets, and grand slate-and-timber fronted houses. Historic sights include Saint Catherine’s Church, dating back to the 15th century and built entirely from wood; and the Notre Dame de Grâce, an exquisite 17th century chapel with wonderful paintings and plaques, provides spectacular panoramic views of the bustling town, Normandy Bridge and beautiful Seine estuary. Honfleur also has many art galleries well worth a visit, such as the Galeries Bartoux which displays magnificent works of contemporary art.
Day 6 Southampton
We disembark after breakfast. You will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
