Day 1 - Dover
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Dover, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Boudicca (3T+) in preparation for an evening sailing.
Days 2-3 - At sea
Relax into life aboard Boudicca, the perfect opportunity to familiarise yourself with the onboard facilities including three heated pools, stylish lounges and bars, the Sun Deck and marvellous restaurants.
Day 4 - Vigo, Spain
This morning we arrive in Vigo, a culture and history-rich Galician gem that hosts a fantastic array of neo-classical architecture and the magnificent Collegiate Church of Santa Maria - a beautiful cathedral situated on the site of an old Gothic church burnt down by Francis Drake. The cathedral is found in one of the most fascinating parts of the city, Cidade Vella, where narrow streets are lined by picturesque old fishing houses and vibrant markets selling local seafood. Vigo is also a wonderful place to soak up the sun, with the glorious golden-sanded beaches stretching along the glistening Atlantic coastline.
Day 5 - Lisbon, Portugal
Portugal’s stunning capital holds a beautiful collection of majestic palaces, art nouveau cafés, ancient castles and manicured gardens scattered throughout the city. Splendid bridges also add to Lisbon’s grand appearance, with the most famous being the Ponte 25 de Abril, an incredible structure across the River Tagus which closely resembles San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.
Day 6 - At sea
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea.
Day 7 - Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
One of the Canary Islands’ most popular destinations, Las Palmas, is our port of call today. With its delightful climate, array of sandy beaches and historic buildings and monuments, you will have plenty to do. The oldest part of the city, Vegueta, boasts extensive architectural masterpieces including the historic Santa Ana Cathedral - the Canary Island’s first church, estimated to have been constructed around 1500.
Day 8 - Santa Cruz, Tenerife
Morning arrival into Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a beautiful resort built around stunning boulevards and impressive avenues that lead to elegant parks and picturesque squares. Visit the island’s exotic Botanical Gardens - a tropical paradise showcasing a breathtaking array of colourful flora, waterfalls, palm trees and an abundance of idyllic streams and ponds. Or visit the Pyramids of Güímar, six magnificent rectangular pyramids created from lava stone, it remains a mystery who built these incredible structures that date back to the 19th century.
Day 9 - Santa Cruz, La Palma
La Palma’s beautiful capital, Santa Cruz is a varied destination with numerous sandy beaches for sun-seekers and colonial-style architecture, churches and palaces for history lovers. During the 15th century the King of Castile conquered the city and it became a prominent trading post, and it has remained a vibrant, bustling city ever since. The historic quarter constructed by Phillip II is an unmissable attraction; here you will be inspired by the beautiful palaces, charming merchant’s houses and the elegant town hall. The capital also boasts many fine restaurants serving mouthwatering local cuisine.
Days 10-11 - Funchal, Madeira (overnight)
Welcome to the ‘floating garden in the Atlantic’, Funchal. Spend two days exploring this lovely island, renowned for its desirable climate and incredible array of subtropical flowers and fruit. Funchal is also a wonderful place for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers, with some of the best parks and gardens residing here and welcoming stunning birdlife. Our visit coincides with Madeira’s Flower Festival, when many activities take place to celebrate the island’s abundance of beautiful flora.
Day 12 - At sea
Day 13 - Leixões (Porto), Portugal
Today we dock at Leixões, the gateway to the scenic city of Porto that resides along the charming banks of the beautiful River Douro. The UNESCO World Heritage City is a pleasure to explore with its narrow, cobblestone streets, neo-classical buildings, pastel-coloured houses with charming red roofs, beautiful Cathedral and Baroque Church of Clérigos. You may also want to visit one of the famous Port wine producers, including Cockburn’s, Taylor’s and Sandeman’s, to taste some of the delicious fortified wines and learn of their production process.
Days 14-15 - At sea
Spend your final days relaxing on board as we sail home.
Day 16 Dover
We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
