Day 1 - Southampton
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Southampton, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Balmoral (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing.
Day 2 - 3 - Rouen, France (overnight)
We spend two days in the fascinating Normandy ‘museum city’ of Rouen. Explore the narrow streets, fascinating monuments and pretty half-timbered houses. Visit Rouen’s soaring Gothic Cathedral, a grand monument that was inspiration for Monet to paint over 30 beautiful canvasses; the impressive Church of Saint-Maclou; and the beautiful Roman Catholic Church of St Ouen. Away from the fantastic array of gothic architecture is the wonderful botanical garden of Jardin de Plantes de Rouen, home to 600 varied plant species flourishing in a number of beautiful landscapes including a rock garden, rose garden and fascinating garden filled with interesting medicinal plants.
Day 4 - At sea
Day 5 - 6 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands (overnight)
We spend two days discovering the historic Dutch capital, Amsterdam, enjoyed for its quirky charm. Visit the many museums and art galleries providing the city with an arty ambience including the spectacular Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum. The Amsterdam Canal district is a particular highlight, the UNESCO-listed area dates back to the thriving Golden Age and you can admire the pretty shops, grand museums and fine restaurants that line the canalside.
Day 7 - 8 - Antwerp, Belgium (overnight).
Docking in Antwerp, we have two days to explore this interesting Belgian city. With over 80% of the world's rough diamonds passing through the city's famous diamond district at some point, Antwerp is renowned for its charm and sparkle. Wander the area at your leisure and get a glimpse of the precious gems. Or, Antwerp is home to more than 20 museums including the impressive Royal Museum of Fine Arts which exhibits works by Flemish masters, including Peter Paul Rubens who lived and worked in the museum. Also filling the city are grand buildings which tell the story of its historic past such as The Cathedral of Our Lady; construction began in 1352 but took several centuries to complete, today you can admire the impressive 123m high tower which dominates the city’s skyline.
Day 9 - Southampton
We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
