Day 1 - London Tilbury
At London Tilbury Port, embark Columbus (3T) in preparation for an afternoon sailing.
Day 2 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands
This morning we arrive in the quirky city of Amsterdam. The pretty cobblestone streets are a sight to behold with their array of gabled houses and merchants’ mansions residing along the tree-lined canals. Fascinating art galleries and marvellous museums are scattered throughout the city centre including the world-renowned Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and the insightful Anne Frank House. Visit the beautiful Royal Palace, originally constructed as a city hall during the 17th century Dutch Golden Era, or the wonderful Vondelpark, an open-air theatre and beautiful park.
Day 3 - At sea
A day spent relaxing on board Columbus.
Day 4 - Flåm, Norway - Cruising Sognefjord
Magnificent mountains surround the tiny village of Flåm, nestled in the innermost arm of the spectacular Sognefjord, particularly famed for salmon fishing. Flåm’s popularity has continually increased since the late 19th century, following the arrival of steamships carrying visitors. Today visitors are drawn for a chance to ride on of the world’s steepest railways, which travels through dramatic mountainous scenery and beautiful lush landscapes, providing breathtaking views over Flåm itself. After a day of exploring we cruise along the scenic Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway.
Day 5 - Olden - Cruising Nordfjord
Lying along beautiful Nordfjord is the pleasant village of Olden, a place among well-kept farms on picturesque hillsides located among rugged peaks. Discover the stunning Oldendalen Valley, home to lush landscapes and mighty mountainous scenery on the edge of Jostedalsbreen Glacier National Park. Optional excursions will take you to tumbling waterfalls, picturesque rivers and beautiful mountain lakes. This evening we sail along Nordfjord, to capture the towering snow-capped peaks, blue glaciers and majestic lakes. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 6 - Åndalsnes - Cruising Romsdalsfjord
Situated at the end of the mighty 88-kilometre long Romsdalsfjord is the picturesque town of Åndalsnes. While here you can admire the glistening River Rauma or join one of a number of exciting optional excursions to nearby sights including the dramatic mountain range of the Romsdal Alps and a vintage steam train which run through Rauma’s unforgettable scenery. Later, we voyage through Romsdalsfjord, its mesmerising deep blue waters, emerald hills, flourishing flora and delightful native fauna.
Day 7 - Bergen
Arrive in the ‘gateway to the fjords’, Bergen, this morning. Norway’s second largest city, Bergen has less than a quarter of a million residents, creating a friendly small-town atmosphere. Wander the charming city and enjoy a funicular ride to the mighty summit of Mount Fløien where panoramic views of the city and Norway’s rugged coastline can be captured. Alternatively, visit the UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf featuring brightly-coloured wooden buildings which reflect the city historical importance in the Hanseatic League.
Day 8 - At sea
Enjoy a leisurely day at sea.

Arrive at London Tilbury Port.
