Discover Spain & Portugal with Seville's Feria Fireworks
11 days from £1,499 per person
This springtime voyage lands you in Seville in time for the finale of the Feria de Abril. We’ll dock in the heart of the city, with the perfect vantage point from which to enjoy the spectacular fireworks. You’ll have time to explore the city’s palaces and Gothic cathedral, and enjoy the scenery as we sail up the Guadalquivir River. We’ll also call in at historic Lisbon, beachy Cádiz and laid-back El Ferrol, mooring up close to the action in each thanks to Braemar’s small size.

Day 1 - Southampton
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Southampton. Embark Braemar (3T+) in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.
Days 2-3 - At sea
As we sail towards Portugal, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.
Day 4 - Lisbon, Portugal
This morning we arrive in Portugal’s capital. The city’s raft of museums includes the superb National Museum of Contemporary Art and the Carmo Archaeological Museum, housed in the remains of a Gothic church. Other highlights include the historic Alfama and Bairro Alto districts, the hilltop Castelo de São Jorge and the Tower of Belém. Don’t forget to buy a few of Lisbon’s most famous treats, pasteis de nata (custard tarts).
Day 5 - Cruising Guadalquivir River - Seville, Spain (overnight)
Our journey to Seville takes us along the winding Guadalquivir River. At the river’s mouth, you’ll be able to see the Doñana National Park, a protected marshland that’s home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. We glide into the heart of Seville late afternoon, docking in a prime position to see this evening’s Feria fireworks. Watch the midnight sky light up as the city celebrates the finale of its Spring Fair, perhaps with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand.
Day 6 - Seville
Breathe in the scent of oranges as you explore Seville today - the city is filled with citrus trees decorated with the famously bitter fruits. Get a glimpse of Andalucia’s Moorish past at the beautifully tiled Alcázar palace, seek out tiny tapas bars in the cobbled streets of the old quarter, or perhaps visit the cathedral - the biggest Gothic cathedral in the world and home to the tomb of Christopher Columbus.
Day 7 - Cádiz
Spend the morning exploring this ancient city’s windswept beaches and higgledy-piggledy lanes. Admire the stone walls in the old town - they’ve been standing since the 1500s - and maybe step inside the 18th century cathedral. We set sail early afternoon.
Day 8 - At sea
Spend the day on board. Maybe read a book and relax or choose to listen to a fascinating talk by a guest speaker. Enjoy lunchtime melodies or a piano recital, then walk a mile with the cruise fitness instructor.
Day 9 - El Ferrol
This quiet, compact city has a laid-back feel to it. Perhaps make a beeline for the pretty La Magdalena district. Designated an area of national historic and artistic interest, the two large plazas here are edged with beautiful 18th century houses and modernist-style buildings. We set sail early afternoon.
Day 10 - At sea
Keep your brain active with the morning quiz, then perfect your dance moves in the afternoon with a beginners’ class. After dinner, you could continue the dancing theme and join the hosted dancing, or choose to watch the professionals instead.
Day 11 Southampton
We arrive back in Southampton early this morning, disembarking after breakfast. Upon arrival, your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
