Today we voyage along the world’s busiest artificial waterway, the Kiel Canal.
Day 4 - Warnemünde
With its wide, sandy beaches, traditional pubs and fantastic restaurants serving delicious, locally caught seafood, it’s no wonder that beautiful Warnemünde attracts visitors each year. Perhaps visit the Warnemünde Church, the 19th century lighthouse, and the quaint cottages all within easy reach of the town centre.
day 5 - Kiel Canal Transit - Cruising River Elbe
Today we cruise the Kiel Canal before reaching the River Elbe - one of the main waterways in Central Europe. This beautiful waterway winds its way through tall hills, past vast plains and alongside pretty towns and cities.
Day 6 - Hamburg
Hamburg is a vibrant, busy and cosmopolitan city packed with beautiful historic buildings and monuments. The steeple of St Nikolai, the 17th century Zollenbrücke Bridge and Hamburg Rathaus are must-visit sites. Discover an array of lively bars and restaurants at the harbour and watch Europe's second largest port in action.
Day 7 - Bremen
Today we sail into Bremen, which has beautiful examples of old Hanseatic Gothic architecture in the ‘Marktplatz’ and narrow timber buildings in the ‘Schnoor’ quarter - the oldest part of the city. St Peter’s Cathedral commands the central market square and has 1,200 years of history for you to explore.
