Day 1 - Newcastle
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Newcastle, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Balmoral (3T+) in readiness for an evening sailing.
Days 2-4 - At sea
Our voyage begins with three full days on board, giving you time to relax, settle in and familiarise yourself with the extensive onboard facilities.
Day 5 - Leixoes (for Porto), Portugal
Renowned as the home of the famous port producers, including Cockburn’s, Sandeman and Taylor’s, Porto is the perfect place for visiting wine cellars. Dominated by narrow streets, pastel-fronted houses, neo-classical buildings and pretty baroque churches, the delightful town is a great place to take a sightseeing stroll. Tonight we set sail towards Málaga.
Day 6 - At sea
Day 7 - Málaga, Spain
Málaga is one of Spain’s most interesting destinations; being the birthplace of Picasso the city possesses a variety of exquisite Moorish art. Visit the 14th century Alhambra Palace, Picasso Museum, Gibralfaro Castle, unique Alcazaba fortress and Generalife Gardens. Or, enjoy some sun-soaked time on the beautiful beach just a short journey from the port.
Day 8 - Casablanca, Morocco
Morocco’s largest city is a delight to explore, from the Jewish Museum - unique in the Islamic world - to the incredible Hassan II Mosque which can accommodate 25,000 worshippers.
Day 9 - Cadiz, Spain
Discover Cadiz, a western Europe ancient city full of palm trees and pretty, historic buildings. Stroll through the wonderful Old Town district, where huge stone walls from the 1500s stand strong and enjoy a visit to the beautifully carved cathedral. We arrive in Cadiz alongside the rest of the Fred. Olsen fleet, for their 170th anniversary ‘Captains in Cadiz’ celebrations.
Day 10 - Lisbon, Portugal
A blend of palaces, art-nouveau cafes, interesting museums, wonderful bridges and ancient castles, Lisbon makes a fascinating stop on our journey. Visit a range of interesting museums, including the National Coach Museum, the Carmo Archaeological Museum, Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and the National Museum of Contemporary Art. Or, join the locals by taking a stroll through the flea market at Campo de Santa Clara.
Day 11 - Vigo, Spain
Located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, this charming city is a perfect place to enjoy wonderful golden-sand beaches and explore interesting attractions. Visit the historic quarter, modern marina and delightful city centre. The ‘Cidade Vella’, situated near the port, is where you will find old fishing houses, large markets offering local seafood and the outstanding Collegiate Church of Santa Maria, the cathedral built on the site of a gothic church burnt down by Francis Drake.
Day 12 - El Ferrol
El Ferrol, the relaxing and quiet city in north western Spain has been a major seafaring city since the period of Bourbon rule. Stroll through the small shops and stop off for a delightful bite to eat at a local restaurant. Visit El Ferrol’s harbour and port, where incredible warships are built, repaired and dismantled.
Days 13-14 - At sea
More time to relax on board as we sail home.
Day 15 Newcastle
Sail back into Newcastle early this morning, where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
