Day 1 - Southampton

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Southampton, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Balmoral (3T+) in readiness for a late afternoon sailing.
Day 2 - At sea
Our voyage begins with a day on board, giving you time to relax, settle in and familiarise yourself with the extensive facilities.
Day 3 - La Coruña, Spain
Glorious beaches, medieval buildings and stylish modernist houses are some of the highlights of La Coruña. Visit the treasures of this elegant city including the Domus museum and the 60-metre high Tower of Hercules, with stunningly-beautiful views. Ciudad Vieja, referred to as ‘the city’ by locals, is home to the city’s centuries-old Roman wall, ancient buildings, the medieval Church of Santiago, galleries and wonderful museums - all ready for you to explore this afternoon.
Day 4 - Christmas Eve - At sea
Spend this Christmas Eve sailing towards the Canary Islands.
Day 5 - Christmas Day - At sea
Happy Christmas! Spend a memorable Christmas Day at sea. Enjoy Christmas lunch with all the trimmings; afternoon parlour games; a buffet supper; a memorable evening show; and of course Father Christmas will be on hand with presents and festive cheer.
Day 6 - Boxing Day - Arrecife, Lanzarote
The gateway to Lanzarote, Arrecife is an utterly-magnificent place. Arriving at the bustling port you will discover the city itself, which was regularly attacked by pirates back in the 16th and 17th centuries. During this time, as a defence mechanism, the court of Spain built two outstanding castles - Castillo San Gabriel and Castillo San Jose - allowing them to watch over the harbour, which today has the largest fishing fleet in the Canaries.
Day 7 - Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
Las Palmas is the perfect destination for sun-seekers, receiving thousands of visitors each year who relax on the glorious golden-sand beaches. Being the largest city in the Canary Islands and capital of Gran Canaria, this beautiful city has a lot to offer including its interesting heritage, having been founded over 500 years ago. An older part of the city, Vegueta is home to historic architecture and the outstanding cathedral - which first began construction in 1500, but was only completed after almost four centuries - exudes incredible Gothic, Renaissance and neo-classical styles in the architecture.
Day 8 - Santa Cruz, Tenerife
Tenerife is a flourishing destination in the Canary Islands and it’s no wonder why, with its wonderful climate and beautiful resorts. Docking at Santa Cruz, today you can explore the island at leisure; you might take a delightful tour to the exotic Botanical Gardens, Pyramids of Guimar or Orotava Valley - a lush existence of banana and pineapple plantations.
Day 9 - Santa Cruz, La Palma
Today we visit Santa Cruz, a city that hosts incredible colonial-style architecture, exquisite churches and palaces and beautiful beaches. It became a dominant trading location between Spain and the Americas in the 15th century when the King of Castile took over, this history can still be explored today in the historic quarter - a place of outstanding palaces, intriguing merchants’ houses and the unique, grand town hall. Other historic monuments can be visited today including the Renaissance-style Church of El Salvador and the Church of Santo Domingo.
Day 10 - Funchal, Madeira (overnight)
Funchal, a ‘floating garden’ located off the coast of Africa is a colourful, charming visit. On arrival you will receive a warm welcome before being free to spend the afternoon wandering the best parks and gardens and admire the beautiful array of subtropical flowers and fruits that fill the atmosphere with beauty.
Day 11 - New Year’s Eve - Funchal
A further day to explore this lovely island, and this evening bring in the New Year with one of the world’s largest New Year’s Eve firework displays, from the decks of Balmoral.
Day 12 - New Year’s Day - At sea
After the previous evening’s festivities, spend the day on board as you wish.
Days 13-14 - Lisbon, Portugal (overnight)
Located over seven hills on the north of the River Tagus, Lisbon is a delightful place to visit with a variety of incredible palaces, museums, wonderful gardens, ancient castles, spectacular bridges and art-nouveau cafés to visit. The Centro Commercial Colombo is also a popular attraction being the biggest shopping mall on the Iberian Peninsula and the Campo de Santa Clara - a market popular among locals.
Days 15-16 - At sea
More time to relax on board as we sail home.
Day 17 Southampton
We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
