Day 1 Newcastle

VIP Outbound2 Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to Newcastle. Embark Balmoral (3T+) in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.

Day 2 At sea

at sea As we sail to our first exciting destination, you’re free to do as much (or as little) as you wish. Maybe start your day off with a brisk walk around the deck. Or opt for a yoga class. Spend the afternoon learning a craft, or perfecting your golf swing. After your choice of dinner, you can catch a show or dance into the night.

Day 3 Copenhagen, Denmark

amalienborg palace Experience the irresistible charm of Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, with its vibrant, friendly atmosphere, wonderful culture and beautiful architecture. Its bridges ring with cycling commuters as they cross the pristine waterways on their way to colourful cafés. The historic centre is home to the regal Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace and Rosenborg Castle, home of the Danish crown jewels. The Little Mermaid sculpture at Langelinje Pier is a must-visit attraction too.

Day 4 At sea

on the ship deck Spend the day on board. Maybe read a book and relax or choose to listen to a fascinating talk by a guest speaker. Enjoy lunchtime melodies or a piano recital, then walk a mile with the cruise fitness instructor.

Day 5 Riga, Latvia

latvia Riga has been an important centre for trade, finance and culture for eight centuries. Look out for its medieval castles and churches, and art-nouveau streets that make up the UNESCO-listed historic centre.

Day 6 At sea

the ship deck Today is free as we continue our cruise. Enjoy a hearty breakfast then take your pick from the variety of activities on board. Show off your general knowledge in an afternoon or evening quiz. Try your hand at bridge, bingo or deck quoits. Or indulge in a traditional afternoon tea to while away your time. Top off the day with a sumptuous dinner or a simple tasty buffet.

Days 7-8 St Petersburg, Russia (overnight)

st petersburg The jewel in the Baltic crown and Russia's most European city, St Petersburg is utterly captivating, displaying baroque palaces, ornate bridges and broad curving canals. The city is built on 40 islands at the mouth of the River Neva. On Neva embankment, the Winter Palace, with over a thousand rooms, is the most magnificent of six buildings that make up the Hermitage Museum. We stay for two days to allow time to explore it all.

Day 9 Cruising Stockholm Archipelago, Sweden

stockholm A leisurely day at sea, before we navigate the beautiful Stockholm Archipelago - home to 30,000 picturesque islands and islets, ancient villages, mighty cliffs and sandy beaches.

Day 10 Stockholm

drottningholm palace Sweden’s impressive capital spreads across 14 islands, and 700 years of history. Check out Drottningholm Palace, the Royal Palace and the picturesque old town of Gamla Stan for a look into the past, or maybe the ABBA museum to revive some old memories of your own. To experience the modern side of the city, the wealthy Norrmalm and Östermalm districts are bursting with creative and cultural energy, and are home to trendy cafés, lavish bars and the science and technology museum. Day 11 Visby

City wall The UNESCO-listed town of Visby is like a living museum, home to a host of historic buildings and monuments. The medieval wall around this ‘city of roses’ is said to be the strongest and best-preserved of its kind in Scandinavia. It’s worth taking a walk along the wall’s boundaries to discover Visby’s collection of medieval churches.

Day 12 At sea

in the ship bar Keep your brain active with the morning quiz, then perfect your dance moves in the afternoon with a beginners’ class. After dinner, you could continue the dancing theme and join the hosted dancing, or choose to watch the professionals instead.

Day 13 Oslo, Norway

norwegian parliament Oslo is one of Scandinavia’s most historic, interesting and welcoming destinations. Surrounded by mountains and its own fjord, this cultured city has had to remain compact, so it’s both easy and fun to explore on foot. Contemporary culture is celebrated across the city. The National Gallery is home to Edvard Munch’s iconic ‘The Scream’, along with works by other European artists from Manet to Picasso; and the Munchmuseet contains over 5,000 works that Munch left to the city of Oslo. The Viking Ship Museum and the medieval Akershus Castle are also well worth visiting.

Day 14 At sea

at sea As we sail home you may want to rest after all your sightseeing. If you’re still full of energy, there‘s lots to fill your time - from quizzes, games and music recitals to walks on deck and dance classes. And of course there’s plenty of opportunity to enjoy all the tasty food options.

Day 15 Newcastle

VIP Inbound We disembark after breakfast and your Titan vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
