Day 1 - Southampton
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Southampton, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Braemar (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing.
Day 2 - At sea
Enjoy the fantastic onboard facilities and entertainment as we enjoy a relaxing day at sea.
Day 3 - La Coruña, Spain
This morning we arrive in Spain’s impressive city, La Coruña, boasting spectacular medieval buildings and monuments as well as delightful modern structures. You won’t be disappointed with the array of fantastic attractions within easy reach; discover the only remaining Roman lighthouse known as the Tower of Hercules, the Domus Museum, the Casa del Hombre - situated inside a striking sail-shaped structure - and the Museum of Sacred Art. You can also discover the charming array of beautiful beaches and visit vibrant Maria Pita Square, popular for its delightful restaurants and impressive architecture.
Days 4-5 - At sea
Enjoy two days at sea.
Day 6 - Almería
Brimming with hidden gems and a charming history, Almería is one of Andalucia’s most charismatic areas. The city is dominated by the magnificent ancient Arab fortress of Alcazaba, a fortified complex built during the 10th century as a military refuge and defensive citadel. Other unmissable sights include the 16th century renaissance cathedral and many museums exhibiting Prehistoric, Iberic, Roman and Greek artefacts. The city centre itself is a marvellous, cultural place to explore with vibrant restaurants serving traditional, local dishes including mouthwatering seafood and tapas. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre are the fantastic stretches of dark sandy beaches and rocky coves bathing in Almeria’s desirably warm climate.
Day 7 - Málaga
The birthplace of Picasso, Málaga, is our port of call today. This cosmopolitan city is rich in culture, glorious golden sandy beaches, spectacular monuments and historic architecture. Be inspired by beautiful panoramic views over the city when discovering the incredible Gibralfaro Castle and visit the spectacular 11th century fortress of Alcazaba. Or join an optional tour to Granada to explore Spain’s immaculate expression of Moorish art, Alhambra, a collection of unforgettable grand 14th century palaces and marvellous exotic gardens. Málaga is also a wonderful place for wine tasting with many cellars within the city.
Day 8 - Gibraltar, UK
This morning we arrive in Gibraltar, often described as a home-away-from-home by British visitors due to the many reminders that include shops and phone boxes, except here visitors can enjoy the Mediterranean climate and duty free shopping. The Rock is the main reason to visit here though; the massive limestone formation shaped this small country physically and historically, providing a much desired natural fortress.
Day 9 - Cruising Guadalquivir River - Seville, Spain (overnight)
Sail along the enchanting Guadalquivir River, one of Spain’s longest waterways and one that showcases stunning natural scenery. Early afternoon we arrive in the spectacular city of Seville, a magnificent place to discover with its wonderful array of grand boulevards, charming cobblestone streets and picturesque squares, and the beautiful orange blossoms make exploring all the more enjoyable.
Day 10 - Seville - Cruising Guadalquivir River
We have another full day to explore the delights of Seville. As well as marvelling at the beautiful waterways, picturesque bridges and magnificent architecture, visit the numerous fantastic attractions including Seville Cathedral. As the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world, it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is where the tomb of Christopher Columbus lies. The Cathedral has a fantastic display of art and a remarkable 100m tall clock tower. Other highlights include the beautiful Parque de Maria Luisa and the royal palace of Alcázares Reale. The upper parts are still used as a Royal residence and the palace is another of Seville’s UNESCO-listed sites. This afternoon we embark Braemar for an evening sailing along the beautiful Guadalquivir River.
Day 11 - Cádiz
Arrive in the ancient city of Cádiz, perfectly tucked into the sunny Atlantic coastline. With palm trees, mystic lookout towers and impressive old buildings, Cádiz is effortlessly admirable. Visit the enthralling Old Town district to discover a beautifully-carved cathedral, topped by an iconic burnt orange cupola.
Day 12 - Lisbon, Portugal
Situated over seven high hills, Lisbon is a unique and stunning city located north of the River Tagus. It offers a glorious collection of pretty palaces, art-nouveau cafés, ancient castles and picturesque bridges including the magnificent Ponte 25 de Abril bridge which reflects the design of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, and the Ponte Vasco da Gama, the longest bridge in Europe. Lisbon is also renowned for its array of incredible museums including the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Coach Museum, the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum - hosting a fascinating collection of Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Islamic, Asian, and European ancient and modern art - and the Carmo Archaeological Museum.
Days 13-14 - At sea
Our final two full days are spend enjoying leisurely time on board as we sail home.
Day 15 Southampton
We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
