Kingston - Ocho Rios
This morning we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kingston, Jamaica’s wonderful capital located along the island’s glistening south coast, overlooked by the Blue Mountains. Home to the world’s seventh-largest natural harbour, it is split into two contrasting halves: Uptown and Downtown, both of which are vibrant areas of charming architecture and ambience. Take a scenic drive to Port Antonio, where we dine for lunch at the idyllic Frenchman’s Cove. A sightseeing journey to Ocho Rios this afternoon, takes us past the glorious sandy coastline and we check in to our hotel, the Jewel Dunn’s River Beach Resort & Spa (4T), with time to settle in before dinner here this evening.
Ocho Rios - Montego Bay
Fern Gully is one of Jamaica’s natural wonders, a scenic stretch of road winding through lush forested lands of colourful flora, spectacular tropical ferns, hardwood trees and rainforest vegetation; we spend the morning here. We’ll also discover Konoko Gardens, with exotic birds and stunning flora including beautiful orchids, as well as serene ponds and majestic falls. We also visit Dunn’s River Falls, terraced by giant natural stairs. Return to our hotel for lunch before an afternoon drive to Montego Bay and the Sandals Inn (5T), our base for the next two nights, with dinner this evening.
Today, we are treated to a wonderful tour of the Greenwood Great House - one of the most original of Jamaica’s great houses, having survived the Baptist War and Jamaica’s great slave revolt. It was constructed in 1780 by Richard Barret, who moved with his family to Jamaica in the 1660s and became extremely wealthy from sugar plantations. In 1976, Bob and Ann Betton opened the house as a museum for the public; showcasing an extensive collection of Jamaican antiques, rare musical instruments and library filled with books on the island. We also visit the Georgian Mansion of Rose Hall Great House - thought to be haunted by Annie Palmer.
Day 5 - Montego Bay
Today we check out of our hotel and transfer to embark Aegean Odyssey (4T) in preparation for an evening sailing.
Day 6 - Santiago de Cuba
Disembark our ship to enjoy a scenic drive to El Morro Fortress - an historic and architectural masterpiece dating back to the 17th century when it was constructed as a defence system during the Spanish colonisation of Cuba. We’ll also discover Santa Ifigenia cemetery, the resting place of a number of notable Cubans including the national hero Apostle José Martí; Moncada Barracks; and Revolution Square, home to a statue of Antonio Grajales who fought in the Cuban movement for independence.
Day 7 - Cruising the Caribbean Sea

Day 8 - Casilda (Trinidad)
Wander the beautiful streets of Trinidad to discover its well-preserved colonial architecture. Roam the Plaza Mayor, a historic UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting 18th and 19th century mansions owned by those made wealthy from the sugar trade; while here we’ll also visit the City Museum, to learn more of the city’s past. Alternatively, join an optional excursion to Hacienda Manaca Iznaga, an estate founded in 1750 and used for sugar production.
Day 9 - Cienfuegos
Arrive in Cienfuegos to enjoy a scenic drive to Parque Marti, the city’s central plaza lined with many historic government, cultural and religious buildings and French colonial architecture. Teatro Terry is one of the most impressive buildings found in the historic centre which boasts classical French and Italian style and we then visit the Purisima Concepcion Cathedral. Drive to Punta Gorda for a walk past the beautiful wooden villas, before we conclude our day with time in the botanical gardens, stretching over 97 hectares hosting exotic tropical plants.
Day 10 - Cruising the Caribbean Sea

Day 11 - Havana
Arrive in Cuba’s vibrant and iconic capital, Havana, characterised by colourful classic cars, 500 years of history, magnificent monuments, great architecture and colonial squares. We enjoy a walking tour through the streets of the old town to the cobblestone San Francisco square, Plaza Vieja and Plaza de Armas, the city’s oldest plaza. Then, visit the city museum, a grand baroque structure showcasing the city’s history through spectacular exhibitions of horse-drawn carriages, religious art and uniforms, and artillery pieces. Alternatively, journey to the beautiful village of San Francisco de Paula and visit Finca Vigía museum - the former home of Ernest Hemingway. Or, you may wish to join today’s optional Cuban classic car experience, the perfect way to get into the Cuban spirit.
Havana - In flight
After breakfast, disembark Aegean Odyssey and transfer to the airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways or another leading airline flight to London.
Day 13 London
Arrive at London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport, where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
