A Titan Wedding

We always love hearing about those exciting, unexpected and once-in-a-lifetime experiences enjoyed by Titan travellers. Along with the thrill of discovering new destinations, lasting friendships can be made, and, on occasion, romance can blossom - as it did for two young Titan holidaymakers, and we are delighted to announce the first ‘Titan wedding!’

In 2005, the Jones family from Wales and the Sterland family from Derbyshire booked their holidays to Florida with Titan, and it was on this holiday that the then 17-year old Janine Jones and 18-year old Edward Sterland first met - and fell in love. Janine went on to study fashion design at university and Edward began an apprenticeship with Rolls Royce, but they kept their long-distance relationship going through innumerable phone calls and train trips. After seven years together, Janine and Edward got engaged, and were married on 2 August 2014 in All Saints Church in South Wingfield Derbyshire. Now living in Belper, Edward works for Rolls Royce as a manufacturing engineer and Janineis a ladies’ wear designer. We at Titan send the happy couple all our best wishes for their future together!

Nicola considers herself very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit a number of places around the world and these experiences usually involve searching for as many kinds of wildlife as possible. Recent highlights include penguins in Antarctica, bears and whales in Canada and Alaska and sea otters in California - but there are always more animals to search for.
