There are so many great reasons to take a cruise holiday. To begin with, I just love that sense of adventure and anticipation when embarking the ship and again when it sails away from port, and of course, there’s a very strong social side to cruising; you will often share tables at dinner with your fellow guests and enjoy sharing stories of your experiences in each port of call.

A cruise is also a very relaxing way to travel; unpack your bags just the once, and then let the cruise ship move the scenery for you as you sail from port to port and explore a range of destinations on a carefully planned itinerary. Additionally, a cruise is a very safe way to travel, with virtually no crime or other such problems to worry about on board, making it an attractive option for some travellers, including solo guests, and will perhaps give individuals the confidence to visit places around the world that they might otherwise be hesitant to travel to independently.
