Excursion to Cornwall to visit the fascinating Eden Project.
Situated on the banks of the River Exe and surrounded by the Devon countryside, Exeter is a wonderful destination for a short break. We will be at the excellently located four star Mercure Southgate Hotel. As one of Britain’s oldest cities it is not surprising to find Exeter filled with an array of ancient architecture with examples ranging from the original Roman walls that still partly encircle the city centre, to the old Saxon bridge with the city’s most treasured jewel – the 850 year old gothic style cathedral. This magnificent building dominates the city with its unique Norman twin towers and stunning gallery of sculptures on the west front and houses an unusual astronomical clock which is reputed to be the source of the nursery rhyme “Hickory Dickory Dock”. We have also included excursions to the world famous Eden Project and beautiful Buckfast Abbey.
We begin with Titan's VIP Home Departure Service® to the Mecure Southgate Hotel in Exeter. Tea and coffee will be served on our arrival with free time to settle in before dinner is served.
